I would also like to know, WHY when one thinks of Jinn, its always affiliated with shaytan.
The Koran even talks about Jinn who were muslim converts.  Im sure they dont appreciate
being affiliated with the devel What say ye, rasheed?  (as I caught one post where you
accused someone of being a jinn in a very negative manner)
On behalf of all the GOOD jinn, i have changed my name in there honor LOL
    (previously the DreamWeaver)

I was only being silly when I accused DigDug of being a djinn.  I do understand that there are both good and bad djinn.

It partially does.  It explains why he has resentment against at the corrupt white west and the way Europeans "abused" the divinely approved concept of slavery.

    Resentment?  Maybe.

I did recently finish David Duke's autobiography and am still a little steamed by it.

And it partially explains why he refuses to acknowledge that Mohammed was Arab.

    The prophet was an Arab.

My point is that not all Arabs are light-skinned.

+1 it seems he has become Muslim as some kind of black empowerment thing when the true islam is nothing but. The true Islam (attempts) to bring all races to an equal footing but there is absolutely no "black empowerment" if anything blacks were kinda shit on before and and Islam came.

    What are you talking about?

Actually I see what you mean.  He has find identity in a religion that denigrates & refuses to acknowledge any progress made by the West since the religions inception, and in doing so inflates his own sense of tribal superiority.

    "The religion" does what?

    lol  smh

Translating it into other languages is changing the Qur'an?  Does it automatically mean that the original Arabic Qur'an will vanish from the earth leaving only the translations?  You're not making sense.  He DID send it down as an Arabic Qur'an so the Arabs could learn wisdom and then help spread that wisdom around the globe.  But where does it say that He only intended it to remain an Arabic Qur'an?  I understand the early Muslims were paranoid that it would become corrupted like the previous revelations, so they were very, very anal retentively protective over it, but there was no command from Allah that it should never be translated.  The idea that "all Muslims must learn Arabic" is tradition, not obligatory command.   A cool tradition, I admit, but not vital to practicing Islam, no.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be translated, its just the translation is reffered to as "the interpretation and meanings of the quran".

Muslims believe that the words in the (arabic) quran are the literal speech of Allah.

So the english translation is not the literal speech of allah and therefore is not the quran. it is the "the interpretation and meanings of the quran"

    Quote
I learned it from my parents and teachers who probably got it from the traditions/hadith.  But the message it contains is very mch in the Qur'an, don't you agree?

I agree. But thank your for acknowledging you got it from hadith. So I just find it strange when you choose to reject other hadith that have been recorded in the exact same (authentic) manner.

    Quote
"If you love me and if you love Allah, you will also worship the scholars."

I think you should stop talking now.

No. Its that you're basically saying that all the scholars in history are stupid and have misunderstood the religion. And that you are the only one that knows the "real Islam" but yet you really have no knowledge at all.

(i really mean no knowledge...you cant even read the quran and you need those same scholars that you reject to translate it for you...let alone knowledge in any of the other Islamic sciences)

You say something that contradicts the way Islam has been practised since it's inception and if I try and show you a hadith or opinion of the scholars you say that listenin to them is "worshipping them"

well you worship them when you say the "testimony of faith" because you got that from hadith. You also worship them when you pray 2 rakahs for fajr ect... because you got that from hadith. You worship them when you make pilgrimage to Mecca because you got that from hadith.

You are in effect worshiping your own opinion when you make false statements about Islam and refuse to accept hadith and even historical accounts because "these were recorded by man  Roll Eyes"

You must remeber your opinion is also the opinion of a MAN. But the opinions of other men (scholars) are based on knowledge where yours are simply based on your whims and desires (you literally know nothing). You even seem to refuse evidence from the Quran when it doesn't suit your fancy.

    I'm an asshat.

Lol! it's funny you say that

    'So I win, right?'

I've come across muslims with that mentality before, it's about the winning, not finding the truth. It's about the 'haha you're wrong and i'm right na na na' no matter how ridiculous a stance you take and that mentality is about superiority.

EDIT: I meant I agree with you IsLame lol

before you said "you didnt know what he was" (i can find the post if you wish). But its good that we are making progress.

There are many hadiths that show Muhammad was light skinned (i can bring them if you want). Let me ask you...

Do these hadiths contradict the quran?

if these hadiths are false what reason would people have to lie about the skin tone of Muhammad?

Yours is an ancient beauty, the kind of muse that inspired Omar Khayyam or the Chauraspanchasika. Surely it was an angel like you who wooed Odysseus as he stood tied to the mast or whose light burst from the balcony that inspired Romeo to song. Oh be my muse, fair Stardust, and we shall teach the generations to come how to love.

No, that's not what I'm saying.  I'm saying the QWur'an was given to all of us, not just to an elite few who are to spoon feed the message to the rest of us.  It's everyone's responsibility to understand the faith for themselves.

You are aware that Muslims started worshipping Ali and kicked off the Shia sect before the prophet's body was even cold, right?  If that doesn't prove my point that we can't put 100% trust in anybody I don't know what would.

Just the fact that there are Shiite scholars should snap you out of this bullsh*t stance you are on.
