Yes, you and I both know loving exes can be complicated right =D Gooood..someone can understand meeee...

Anyway, why did you let him wait for you? He broke your trust?

No, he never broke my trust, it was as simple as this:
I was just finish my senior high school year, about to go to college, we were going to two different cities, chances are we were only going to meet once in a year, so I decided to broke up with him, I was a teenager back then, was excited to go to college, but I was still in love with him

     yes
We are okay now (me and that ex), he's about to get married I guess, we often talk to each other, I don't have the kind of feeling I used to have to him, but we are really good friend.

Is it 'nasi sudah menjadi bubur' ?  Cheesy

Nasi sudah menjadi bubur is another one  Cheesy

    Bubur is porridge right?

When rice turns into porridge, there is no use crying.

Lol it is funny if we translate Malay DIRECTLY into english.

Imagine calling 'buaya darat' a 'crocodile man.'

'Main kayu tiga' - 'play three stick'

You crocodile man play three stick LMFAO

yeah, many funny things if we directly translate Malay/Bahasa to English, but I don't understand what's 'Main kayu tiga' means, that definitely belong to Malay  grin12 (Or I just didn't pay enough attention of my bahasa class, it's not really common here anyway)

It was like hell, but I managed to make everything work out, it's a long story, let's just say he didn't keep his word, I was working shifts, he asked me to work late one day and asked me to come early the next day, he promised me I could go back early, but then he asked me to work late again that day, and it's not a one time thing, it's accumulated, and that's not the only problem, until one day I couldn't take it anymore, we fight and started to scream to each other, lol, I was 18

By always asking and never commanding. It was startling for me.

By the way, I started a thread under 'advice corner' entitled ' forgiveness.'

I do try to forgive but it's so hard. Especially when I remember how people I cared about the most were taken away from me, etc.

By the way also, it's fun reading your post replies..Damn.. As a Muslim, I never thought I'd find so much fun participating in an ex muslim forum  Cheesy

    Just about anybody and anything.

For me, I can't forget my first love (he is still alive). I haven't spoken to him face to face for years, but I still remember how he impacted me as if it was just yesterday. We broke up a long time ago because of sad family issues and I was too young, impatient at that time.

I remember how he used to place a silver bracelet on my hand and how he used to cry to me on the phone. I remember how he once wrote a sad letter telling me he wished I could find a guy who could take care of me better than him.

Sometimes while I'm in UK and he's far back in my home country (I'm an international student in UK), I would still wonder to myself if he'd be proud of me seeing how much I had changed.

He's probably changed a lot over the years. I don't know if he has forgiven me or not, sadly.

Sometimes I think even if I get married to another, I will still remember him this way.

I still haven't forgotten about you my love, come back to me  Cry

Your silver bracelet is waiting for you.

It's not just a question about who you miss. But if they miss you. I have met up with people I missed, some of them barely remembered me Grin

An old friend on mine who moved away.  Never meant to lost contact, think about her almost every day and wonder how she is doing.  How it all worked out for her in the end.  She was my best friend.

My dad, or the having of a dad.  I miss that dream.
