    Couscous with Chicken, raisins, and caramalized onions.

    Can't find a picture of the other dish, it's moroccan pancakes that are shredded and served under chicken with sauce, that trickles all over the pancakes.  Lord that stuff is gooooooooood.

    I'm not sure about the taste if they're cooked differently, there are lotus seed soup and stir fried lotus root I think, but I've never tried them.

    omg!!! ive had this before at a moroccan restaurant, and its soooooooo good!  Like a pastry chicken dish?

    some japanese dishes have sliced lotus root, too.  Im not crazy about it, but i would eat it.
    dont think ive ever tried it as a sweet dish, would give it a try tho  Afro

    Yep, the Bastilla one.  It takes ages to make though lol which is why I haven't had it in, I can't even remember how many, years. Grin

    I don't see what the big fuss with sushi is. It gives me a tummy ache. I think there's a bunch of people who think it's trendy to eat it and that's the only reason why they eat it. Tongue

    I love singaporean laksa- the hot chilli contrasts beautifally with the creaminess of the coconut milk.

    I also love masala dosa- an old old classic. Yum.

    Right now i'm craving a boiled egg with salt and soy sauce. Afro
