     OP - July 05, 2010, 11:23 AM

    hello guys,

just checking if this site was blocked in Saudi and it turns out that it is not!

On the other hand, FFI IS blocked in Saudi Arabia..

I wonder why would the Saudis allow access to your site but not FFI?  Thinking hard

anyway, I'll log back in a few days when I'm settled here.

Wonder if it's blocked in Pakistan.  They seem to be ahead of everyone else when it comes to banning anti-Islamic websites.

    Good to know, Debunker. Afro
Hope you are taking the relevant precautions (proxify/anonymiser), if you think they might be monitoring the internet traffic from this site.

That's why he's gonna denounce our site like a good Mu'min. Tongue

Yeah, I remember him saying that if he was the governor, he would ban this site (but not prosecute anyone for running it), because it would be a sin to allow people to propagate unislamic ideas.
    Now there's an irony. Cheesy

ETA: Here is the quote from the thread where debunker said this: grin12

free speech? yeah... I would love it, assuming it's possible, to criticize the ruling elite... so politically, yeah I support free speach... and while I would never want apostates to hide their apostasy, I don't support making it easy for them to air their views...

For example, let's pretend I am the governor, and you are an atheist citizen who declared his apostasy and held private meetings at your home promoting atheism... then I have no problem with you...

You went a step further and made a web site bashing Islam, I still have no problem with you, BUT I WILL BLOCK your site, even though I will still not prosecute you.

The point is: do whatever you like, but don't expect me, as a governor, to help you in anyway to bash Islam... because in this case, I'd be sharing your guilt.

because you don't like FFI and you don't like people like yeezevee writing in to CEMB and FFI debunker., Saudis realized that so they blocked it.

I know you don't like me and my posts/words whatever.  But I tell you this, I do like you and I wish every Muslim on this earth is like you. So let me give you this promise.

Go.. go for elections in Saudi council in some city. I WILL DONATE you more than 1000 Riyals to your POLITICAL PARTY.

    with best wishes

Still probably best to run it through a proxy server anyways, debunker, just to be safe.

    Maybe he's using a proxy...

It's not blocked in Pak. Atheist.pk mentioned this not too long ago.

    fuck you

mods - can we hide this thread to registered users only.  Just want to avoid any chance of it getting reported by the muslim mafia.

No. Whoever feels the need to report websites is gonna report us anyway, just by looking at the address.

This site is NOT blocked in Pakistan but FFI is though.

Even during the whole Draw Muhammad Day blocking spree by the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority, CEMB was untouched.

It isn't blocked in Yemen either. I did a quick test of some websites and they seem to be a bit lax on blocking anti-Islam sites.

FFI, religionofpeace, wikiislam, el7ad.info* are not blocked

    answering-islam, el7ad.com* are blocked

*They are interchangeable domain names for the same site

Islamic countries seem to have caught on the fastest to realize that the internet is the graveyard of religions, they come here to die. They fail to realize that they will never be able to keep up. Just google how much porn pakistanis illegally watch on the net, even as they try to block it, that'll be revealing.

It is not the way you live your life that is important, it is how well you enjoy it that matters.

This site is not blocked here in Malaysia either, but FFI was blocked until I messed around with my DNS. Shallow blocking attempt.  whistling2
