The only member I’ve met so far is IsLame. Let me tell you, the guy is a geezer. He is well worth meeting.

You’d have Jay and Muzammil at the same gathering? Last I heard from them two, they really, really wanted to kill each other on the Astronomy thread. Good luck with that mate (unless they have kissed and made up now?).

I personally would be happy to meet any ex-Muslim on this forum. I’ve gone through most of my life without being able to share my experiences with anyone who truly understands where I am coming from. So, meeting any openly ex-muslim person would for me be an experience to cherish, and one to definitely scribble into the scrapbook that I am keeping, in order to show my grankids one day. But, having said that, if I had to pick someone out, I’d want to meet MAB. I just want to see how close he is in real life to the image of himself that he presents to us all on here. I doubt if he is very close to that image at all, but that is just a gut feeling.

Btw, thanks for mentioning my name on there Shattered Skeptic and Zaibs.

I'm not confident at all.

In fact I'm highly pessimistic about the way things are going to go in my lifetime.

But hope springs eternal, eh?

And from what I have learnt on here (thanks all) the whole edifice of conservative Islam seems so dry and brittle that it could break up or burn down almost without warning. When its vassals wake up.

I dunno if it's too early to say seeing as I hardly converse with even half of the active members but I think I'd most like to meet Hassan, Yeevezee and billy because of their level of insight, knowledge and worldliness they seem to radiate. Some of those traits are more applicable based on the person, but still. Musivore, too. He seems like a really good guy, really empathetic.
