He/She contacted me on youtube and wanted to discuss with me. I said - as usual - that I don't discuss on Youtube (for many reasons) but am happy to discuss here. He/she replied:

"ok iwant to ask my questions first"

So I have made the thread an will wait and see if he/she will register.

Just got a message that he doesn't want to come here and insists on discussing over PMs on Youtube, but as I said, I don't do that - so I guess that's the end of that.

I doubt it would have got anywhere since his attitude was a little... ahem... hostile, let's say:

Urban Dictionary: hassan
An expression used to refer to some one who is immensely cool, and has style unrivalled by any one else.

One reason I think it is good for ex-Muslims to keep their family surname is that it can then allow an observer to see which side/section of the family are more progressive/not as strict compared to others.
