Oh and Laphroig is really really smokey and peaty. It's the smokiest whiskey ever. Sort of like lapsang souchong compared to ordinary Chinese tea.

I love my boyfriend's family. They're like the family I've always wanted.
I love my real friends and their support they've given to me.
I also love how I am feeling right now. I'm not this sad, depressing person who just thinks that her life will be over because I'm weak and powerless.
And also, I love you all guys. Thanks for those who helped me. I'm really grateful to have found this amazing forum. <3

Putting morons who try to check me in their proper place. I was talking to a friend of mine about a bike trail that we are planning on riding this weekend. This random guy just butted in and tried to correct my already correct word usage.

Me: I haven’t ridden that trail in over a year, but it is around 20 miles.
Random guy who I wasn’t even speaking to: I’m not sure “ridden” is a word. (Pulls out phone)
Me: It certainly is a word.
Random guy who I wasn’t even speaking to: I'm not sure it is.
Me: It is the past participle of the verb “ride.”
Random guy who I wasn’t even speaking to: (After looking at his phone and confirming that it is in fact a word) OK. It’s a word. But I don’t think you used it properly. (continues checking on his phone)
Me: I used the present perfect tense which requires use of the past participle. So, yeah, I did.
Random guy who I wasn’t even speaking to: (After looking at his phone for like 5 minutes and confirming that it I had in fact used it correctly) OK. It looks like you were right after all.
    Me: I know

That my boy (middle one) is off on holiday with his school on Monday, and my other eldest son is obviously at his boarding school, which means I finally have 1 week alone with my little girl, and I can take her out every evening after school for one on one time.

She really needs it since the other 2 are such demanding personalities.

It's gonna be a fun mummy daughter bonding week.   dance

Wish it was possible to set up the same for each of the boys too, but I will take what i can get right now.

I love that it's only a few weeks until Glastonbury.

The Rolling Stones, Nas, Bobby Womack, Johnny Marr, Portishead, Public Enemy, Sinead O'Connor, The Smashing Pumpkins, Arctic Monkeys, Editors, Primal Scream, Skream & Benga, Chase & Status, Dizzee Rascal, The Orb, Disclosure, The XX. And Prof. Brain Cox & Robin Ince will be there doing their Infinite Monkey Cage.
