    That I have never felt or experienced anything "life changing" or "profound" or "self-transcending". While I certainly have experienced some amount of pain, and even some things that others would consider life-altering experiences, I can't say I have ever felt such things. It just feels empty and numb.

    While I enjoy films, music, and some writings, I can't really say I have ever been "moved" by such things.

    I honestly don't know what this means. Maybe it's normal, and everyone feels this way. Or perhaps maybe I'm just emotionally stunted. I don't know.

    Fucking people who have no manners and are inconsiderate and rude, I am sooo sick of it, I want to scream and wanted to just scream in this woman's face today. I'm just so tired of dealing with certain persons who go out of their way to be rude and bug one.

    But I'm stuck in the past, and I always have been and will be, and that's what I hate, not.getting older in terms of age per se, but that I'm leaving the past.

    Ahhh, I know what you mean. A little bit, like the time period and general carefree mind, but then again I don't like my past experiences. I'm happy with the present. Wish I were more accomplished already though. I used to imagine by the time I'm 20 I will have achieved most things in life that I wanted XD

    If you talk to a ten year old about being forty they will think that is ancient. Talk to a seventy year old about being  forty they will think a forty year old is still young.

    Another way of thinking about it is that the alternative to getting old is dying young.
    Really given the choice, except in extreme cases, that choice is easy getting old is way better then the alternative.
