    People who get all up in my face and try to relate to me by hinting that they're knowledgable about black culture. One, they may know about the latest top 40 hits, B.I.G., Tupac, Nas and Jay-Z  and the most popular slang usage as realized by Urban Dictionary but are usually lacking in the understanding of the history of music and dance made popular by black artists and never seem to want to go further than that. And two, I'm not one-dimensional as a person. My ethnicity may have a bearing on musical preference but black is not all I am.  Roll Eyes

    I hope i didnt give you that impression because i know i didnt and i never hide the fact of loving these artists you mentioned and i also love Hip-hop,Soul,RnB and Funk. Tongue

    Oh!, cool. Just trying to make sure im not one of the targets because i have received enough flak from beardos and barbarians that dont appreciate music and arts for liking hip-hop offline too, On the other hand i can somewhat relate to what you mean. So pardon me for being reactive. XD

    I hate the fact that in the UK most of the people visibly and vigilantly fighting fascism and racism are slightly loony and have little credibility or pragmatism in terms of their politics. It gives the anti racism/anti fascism camp a bad image.

    Its not so much that you shouldn't be concerned about the entrenchment of aspects of Islamic arbitration and the assertiveness of religion in a secular society, SciFiMovieFan, its that its important not to over exaggerate such a phenomenon or project that onto all Muslims or members of any community, as you did in the Mecca thread saying you wish all Muslims in the West leave the West.

    This is one of those days that i would say i hate how people are being skeptical on romantic relationship saying they dont believe in love. Bullshit, i think they are denying themselves something that offers true happiness in their life.
