Again, these are not problems with GM crops themselves. It is the poor implementation and management and the amount of the control that large corporations such as Monsanto have.
Yes, I agree. The tools are in the hands of the ruling class, which in this case are American capitalist. Not a surprise, but that's where most of the opposition in the "third world" comes from, peasant farmers who will be displaced by major American GMO producers.
I don't know why you're focusing on "health concerns" when opposition to GM crops is almost never with that. Here's the actual opposition:
