Well I was just being realistic, a huge proportion of forum-goers (anywhere on the net really) are from the UK.

I'm American
On my fathers side of the family, his father was of German heritage and his mother was German and Hungarian Jew. My mother immigrated from Honduras and her grandfather was Palestinian, her mother was of the indigenous people who were present before the spanish came. A small percentage of my mother's heritage is spanish.

In other words I am multi-ethnic.

Australian by birth and nationality, both of my parents are Australian-born too. My grandma is from Manchester and my grandpa is from Beijing, both immigrated to Australia after World War 2 I believe.

I had to look up what ethnicity means because I don't know what I officially am... I am Caucasian from appearance, I think this is because my dad who is half-Chinese married my mum who is Caucasian, so it took a lot of Chinese out of me. I have no idea what I am though...

Well, most of you know my background but for those who don't I'm American of German-Jewish descent on my mother's side (grandparents fled Nazi Germany in the 1930s) and Scots-Irish-German-whoever-else-raided-ancient-Britain descent on my father's side.

I've recently moved back to the U.S. after nearly 7 years living in England.

Pakistani by birth, nationality, and location.

Muhajir by (linguistic) heritage. Both sets of Grandparents came from villages around Delhi/Agra area during Partition and settled in Pakistan, and despite living in Seraiki-speaking south Punjab for last 5 decades, we are all pure Urdu-speakers.

My ethnicity is mostly Polish, with a little German, and a little from the Ukraine/Russia/Belarus area.

Same reason Russia was munched with Europe and Africa and Latin America were used to represent very diverse regions. Besides, Canada and the US are practically the same.
