here you go yeezevee.. this is for you..

i can be for peace and speak out..
to bring about challenge and doubt..
a temporary drought,
for that radical scout..
who seems only to be able to shout..
about his religious islamic route..

i can be against the murdering of jews..
and palestinians,, i don't have to choose..
not limited by al-jazeera or fox news..
i can see myself in others shoes,
but i refuse to put up with abuse..
cause it's our humanity we stand to lose...

i can be kind to those who are kind..
veiled or not, we are mankind..
we are combined, confined, entwined..
sometimes that slips our mind..

i can be loving to my mother...

that muslim woman who raised me..
her gentle hand on my scrapped knee..
her vieled smile that set me free..
i can love her and disagree..
with the life she holds so closely..
with the mythical allah.. the deity..
the rituals of an ideology...
the misogynistic community...
i can still love her and disagree...

an exmuslim i can be...
