Uuhhh.... subject ... yeah, that's it  yes

Some of these are really good! I haven't written a poem for about 10 years. But here goes!

This is CEMB and it's the place,
a small free corner of the Internet space.
Some click a link and others arrive by Google.
Unbeknown to some, this site is not always legal.

Say "Hello" over on the "Introduce Yourself" thread,
warm welcomes and details on your story will be read.
You might be frustrated or have the need to vent,
no worries CEMBers will read, by all present.

Then head to the lounge and let down your hair,
your poems, music & photos of you, it's good to share.
Then, what's happening, tap into the UK & world news,
it's always interesting to read another person's views.

Then dive deep ... discuss science, religion and Islam in detail,
from the wearing of the veil to the 'Fear of males',
you can even discuss in Arabic if English is getting too stale.

Next section below ... the sanctuary corner,
many blogs and bios that may parallel your experiences,
you'll read them with resemblance and feel not like a foreigner.

Before you know it, you'll be on IRC and chatting away,
connect, laugh and have fun, instead of being made to pray.
One final thing, do watch your time to avoid being here all day,
other than that, smile & enjoy your stay!

    ode to Quranic Miracles

    If islamic science,
    is so miraculous and true,

then why do kuffar scientists find it
    and whys it never you?

Your ignorance and stupidity, cut through me like a sharp cheese grater
    allah's not very akhbar
when your lands a smoking crater

you sit there all high and mighty thinking you've got the facts
but let's us look at reality,
im not the one with sand half way up my ass

your stupid lies have made a terrorist
    convinced that he'll get something
too bad that when he kills himself
    he'll find theres absolutely nothing.

and one more thing mr lying muslim
if these prophecies are coming clear
then how do you explain the fact
    that allah was never here?

Sorry, Kaffir Latte, I had to do this:

There once was a man from Kabul
        who thought kafirs were fools.
        He searched high and low
        in the Quran verse flow.
Instead he came off as a tool.

The wrong woman, black eye and walker.

Sweet, little Anna, a child of five,
Afraid of the dark, took a dive
under the pillows and her bear.
    She wouldn't come out if she dare;
slowly to insanity her parents drive.

It flutters playfully all around me.

    Tantalizingly close.

I am captivated by its beauty.

If only it could be mine!

    It hovers above me,
yet no matter how much I chase it,
I cannot keep up with its incessant teasing.

    I am weary.

    It senses my discontent.

    My despair.

    My yearning.

    Please be mine!

    It alights upon a branch.

    Perfectly still.

An invitation to fulfill my desire.

    My heart skips a beat.

I carefully reach out to it.

    Time stops.

    Hope swells within me.

    You’ll soon be mine!

    I stand tip-toed.

    My fingers close in.

    A gentle wind blows.

    A leaf rustles.

It darts into the air once more.

I let out an anguished cry.

    I stumble after it.

    Tears blur my vision.

Why must you torment me so?

    Wow, that is simply brilliant.

The poet picks up his pen
    Behold another waste of ten

Instead he could pick up a brush
And no need there would be to rush

But he is a perculiar he
He'll never be done by tea

2 days he needs to make most of 1
Nothing can do, fate's web 'ready spun

But he could if he would, but then there is should
Don't mention the sweat tears and blood

So easy to dream like a poet, indeed
Seizing the day too much of a need

No other way, I should know that by now
Seasons greet quickly and say kkthnxciao

So let's start by the next ten
The poet puts down his pen.

The unlived life is not worth examining.

Theres was a  young man from Kabul
who thought it would be rather cool
to blow up a building full of  women and children
so 72 hoories could play with  his tool

Its easy to condemn the young man
for the hurt, the grief and bedlam
cuased by his bomb ,but borne from  shameless aplomb
of those who would claim  peace = islam
