    The Universe of the Absurd

I’m stuck between rationality and the mystical
I try to make sense of everything, but everything is nonsensical
I start from the beginning, look for an end
But the universe is infinitely cyclical
I look for a meaning for everything
But the meaning of everything is all just mythical

Rationality to the point of absurdity
    And my world falls apart
    It crumbles to pieces
Is it the end, or is it the start?

I hang my head between my knees
    And break down in despair
    Nihilistic and deconstructionist
My thinking was all in vain
Now I have absolutely nothing to lose
And no value to whatever I gain

    The Universe of the Absurd

    I’m stuck
no value to whatever I gain

what kind of poem is that abood
neither it is mystical nor it is rational but it is confusion
it sounds like the universe of abood
rationality is  mystical and mysticism is rational

Rationality to the point of absurdity is absurdity of abood
But the universe is infinitely cyclical so why worry and why care about universe?
It is after all cyclical, what goes on comes back
You look for a meaning for everything  and that is where you are wrong
And the meaning of everything is just mythical so let it go..let it go..

You hang your head between your knees
Did some one beat you up?
breaking down is Ok., but crying is no use
the universe is cyclical, the psychedelic drama continues
    Nihilistic and deconstructionist
    but deconstructionist is not Nihilistic
    and  thinking is never invain
you absolutely nothing to lose by thinking
the  value thinking is immeasurable and you gain everything abood..

Theres was a  young man from Kabul
who thought it would be rather cool
to blow up a building full of  women and children
so 72 hoories could play with  his tool

Its easy to condemn the young man
for the hurt, the grief and bedlam

    An Ode To Being Dumped

( Subtitled:Fuck you , you insufferable, pretentious cow,I never really liked you anyway.)

You can't take the music from my life
Nor pull my sun down from the sky
No river of tears , no sleepless nights

You can't  make my red turn blue
You can't take the music from my life
Becuase I can sing sad songs too

You cant stop my  memories from flowing
I remember days when our souls smiled
The secrets shared,  tentative souls bared

Seems it wasnt our symphony, just a prelude
You cant stop my  memories from flowing
    Neither can I , although I wish I could

Today cant stop tomorrow from coming
Just as yesterday couldn't stop your goodbye
Time waits for nothing ,not even itself

It throws me forward, push turns to pull  turns to shove
Today wont stop tomorrow from coming
    Its  already here. WIthout  love

No,this won't take the music from my life
Becuase I can sing sad songs too
No this wont take the music from my life
    Your dumping me? Fuck you!

I like to write poetry and would like to create a thread where everyone can share their poems.

    Here's one of mine:

    Motionless: She lay there
    waiting
    for our soulless anarchy
    to stain beige-colored sheets
    Every word
    evokes animal desire
    ridicules platonic love
    breaks my humanity
    pushes me into primal abyss
Her lust could flip Sodom upside down
    But still
    her skin
    dripped in homage
    to the heat
    We commenced
Damp hair hung like Spanish moss
swayed to the rhythm of our sin
She broke free with a smile
    satiated
    we lay together
our minds still faced with eternity

    Snapping Rubber Band

    I am going through
    the emotions in my life,
    As though I am
    in autopilot;
    Actions
    without emotion
    or reason.
    Words
    without meaning
    Trapped
    in an endless cycle
    of press, play and repeat
    Without
    ever knowing... why

    My parents had always
    looked at things differently
    They raised me
    with expectations
    that I'll never fulfill,
    People
I will never grow to like
    Customs and traditions
    that will always
    seem alien
    A way of life
    I will never accept...

    A rubber band
    stretched
    beyond reason,
    Growing fatigue
    due to pressures
    from the outside,
    And from within its self
    Suppressing
    any emotions
    that will be
    undesirable
    Feeling increasingly bitter,
    with every passing day.

    But one day,
    I will snap.
    I will lie there
    limp, lifeless;
    a mere
    rubber casing
    of my former self,
    Blood of arsenic,
    skin of styrofoam,
    Emotions of latex
    and a shattered glass soul...

    They can try to mend
    the broken fragments,
    But it will be
    utterly useless,
    I will be damaged
    beyond repair
    For once,
    they will feel
    what I felt,
    regret and hopelessness,
    Reminiscing
    on what could’ve been...

    What I could’ve been.

    Drifting

    I sit here,
    watching cars go by
    Through my barrier,
    wishing,
I can break free and fly

    These four walls,
    enclose me,
more than a maximum security prison
    taunting, teasing
    driving me insane

    I lay here,
    somewhere,
    between the real world
    and my own

    Watching,
trees sway and cars go by
    Drifting,
    through these anxious moments

These are two of my best poems. My other ones pretty much suck, I'm not all that good at writing but I love to write. Man after I come out to my parents I also kind of have to tell them I want to be a writer instead of an architect, engineer or some other job I will hate and regret for the rest of my life.

I have taken the liberty to change punctuation of this work:

    Snapping Rubber Band

    I am going through the emotions in my life, as though I am in autopilot;
Actions without emotion or reason. Words without meaning, Trapped in an endless cycle of press, play and repeat without ever knowing... why my parents had always looked at things differently.

They can try to mend the broken fragments, but it will be utterly useless, I will be damaged beyond repair. For once, they will feel what I felt, regret and hopelessness, reminiscing on what could’ve been... what I could’ve been.

In this form I think the story is much more impressive. Only now, it's regarded as proza. Maybe I prefer the proza over the "poem" this time. Well done, impressive!  Afro

this is more of a rap that i wrote 2 years ago, it was mostly for a battle

You're like a hopeless dreamer, staring in divine light,
You suffer from hindsight from this assigned fight,
Your bars are benign, while I recite malign shite,
    You're alligned to the sidelines, you're just a fleabite;
I'm on my feet like a feline, rolling in the twilight,
I designed the guideline, you can't get it timed right,
    Infinite crimes I indict, hip-hop in daylight;
My lyrics define and refine - highlight the limelight.

I'm the cashmere to your linen - much to your disdain,
I jeer at your fear, I'm ruling your domain,
The final frontier, the feigned membrane
    of society's queer mundane monarch reign;
Revere the shakesperean bloodstain, inane pain,
Lyrics restrained, appear to be insane,
    To the naked ear, profanity remains;
For my homies' peer, my melody regains.

You fucking pusssies down under were torn asunder,
You're rap is a blunder while I spit fucking thunder,
When you spit a bar I wonder, should I fucking shun ya,
I'm suddenly getting plundered while my lyrics fucking gun ya.

Yeah I'm gettin' plundered, by your bitch you see,
Poetic and metaphorically by my wizardy,
Philosophically fucking her like it's Paizuri,
Mammary copulation 'cos you fuck her flaccidly.

You're embalmed in my theology, like tutankhamun,
My sadistic bars expand on me, they're like a typhoon,
Utilising sublime logic, to which you're immune,
You're neurotically inferior, the mass to my commune,
    Psychologically spoon-feeding you my monsoon,
Of musically enchanced barrage of impugn,
    "Lyrically challanged" eight-bar platoons,
I'm spittin' harpoons from the moons of neptune.

Okay I need to hear you rap this NAO.
