The Council may not share the same objectives as you. I think they're focused more on promoting freedom of religion and freedom to LEAVE religion, rather than going out of their way to disprove Islam itself (as I like to do).
In which case you can always go solo and create youtube videos. Or invite Muslims speakers like Hamza Andreas Tzortzis to have a debate with you. I'd pay to see that.
Good idea - a few here like Hassan, me, Tommy, Rationlizer, Nessrriin, darkeyed have links in their signatures pointing to their youtube channels, take a look to get ideas
Look, I had to cheat my self-ban just to counter this horrible advice. There's no substitute for offline organization and how many people do we have coming here saying they want to get involved on a real-world level, beyond the internet? And you guys are basically discouraging him from doing that/encouraging him to put all his efforts into online activity? Much love to Islame and Shahid, and much respect for those who do invest the time in making ex-Muslims into an online presence (I do think that stuff is important)-- but what the fuck, you guys? We've got plenty of people here willing to make online contributions and very few willing to make offline contributions, so whenever we get someone looking to do the latter, they should be encouraged, and not steered into strictly online activities.
Welcome, mohsinali32, and hopefully you can find someone here (like Hassan) who can help steer you towards the offline activity you're eager to do. I live in the US, so I won't be much help myself.
