Hey Shahid, thanks for the advice. I just remembered I am not muslim anymore! So I guess it's okay for me to drink from the toilet tap without the shaytan entering my mouth
But aren't there health hazards?
But to answer your question I left because Islam made no sense. It's just an ideology that uses fear and a bunch of ignorant fools to keep it strong. Hopefully it'll die out and these people will see they are wronged.
I was born in Kuwait and came here when I was like two so I was kinda raised as a muslimah. My dad is nice but my mum is just an utter ignorant A hole. Sorry but it's how I feel :/
I began to doubt Islam and wanted to tell my dad about it (I swear he's the funniest greatest dad you could know) But when I told him the look on his face was horrific. He couldn't bare the words, he told to stop and threatened to kill me! I was shocked! My dad! He was like my best friend.
But now you can see how this religion drives even a loving man. I know he'll kill me because he's always forcing me to do stuff now. Like to go mosque, read quran, wear the hijab. We've been fighting a lot, he thinks I m loosing my faith. But he still thinks I am Muslim thankfully.
To be honest I can't understand organized religions that promote total submission, endless citations without even knowing the words, robotic prayers and outdated concepts. If you look at some people today they are blind followers! they know nothing about even their own religion and constantly argue and try to prove each other wrong. This quran are so outdated, Mohamed isn't exactly someone i look up to neither.
Let me ask you this, how do you want to be remembered in this life by your beloved? As someone who was always worried, afraid or lost. Or as someone who was happy and lived life to the fullest! I want to be happy. If their was a god he'd obviously want me to be happy wouldn't he? Islam dosen't make me happy, it scares the crap outa me. and the heaven don't even sound that nice lol.
I then looked at Buddhism, and although I didn't agree with some of the beliefs it taught me a lot about life and happiness. I really found many of the philosophies intriguing.
'All know the Way, but few actually walk it.'
Sorry it's long, I hope you don't mind.
And what about you, i'd like to know about you too
