Imagine someone with a giant afro going down on you. It'll look like a pretty impressive pube bush.

They should use a lot more conditioner in their hair if it gives you carpet burns! Huh?

[Bump for the love of superficiality.]

I find that my fashion and overall style is heavily influenced by the music culture I'm attracted to (jazz, soul, funk, broken beat, hip-hop etc.)

Anyone follow any particular style/fashion sites or blogs?

A recent one I stumbled upon is Inventory Magazine (google it if you're interested since I can't post links yet being a n00b and all).   There's also a Tumblr blog called Convoy that collects some nice clothstuff.

    That's a woman's fashion site though.

I occasionally read Esquire or GQ. But I haven't found a good fashion site for men.

Its actually both -- look closer, there's a button at the top of the page that you can choose from 'girl/guys/both'

Haha yeah I know -- I'm so poor, I even had to buy my shoes secondhand. So this is a little out of my price range...

That's looking good, cheers.  A couple of pages down I found a men's jacket that slightly resembles your Givenchy one.

    I love this one http://www.polyvore.com/

You can create your own looks there using the application, just drag and drop clothes and random images onto the 'canvass' area, and end up with something like this:

    Loads of fun 001_wub

haha awesome! yeah there's a lot off blazers like that one, but the givenchy one has some awesome features that I can't find duplicated anywhere else -- particularly the fit, the pattern of the stripes, exaggerated square shoulders but without the bulky shoulderpad look, and especially the lapels. The lapels is the trickiest part, as they have that seamless "V" pattern that you'd need a very specific print fabric to even try to duplicate.

More girls need to wear long socks. They're really cute.

I used to wear long socks, although plain ones, and they made everyone stare. But my style overall made everyone stare because people in Kuwait are so close-minded about style and I was pretty extreme back in high school. I remember one guy telling me if I don't feel embarrassed wearing what I'm wearing, and my friend told him to shut the fuck up and mind his own business, lol.

I wish I was more gender-bending in my style, though. There are many things I wanted to try out but was afraid to.

I adore long socks (in case you havent noticed).. stockings and thigh highs are some of the best accessories i've ever worn..
