BerberElla, I quite like those trousers.  :(

Then you should buy them.  As you can see from two differing opinions, taste is subjective.

I'm not personally into the baby powder preppy boy look, so the trousers with the look ruin the whole effect for me.  Too clean cut.

I wear things I like, some people like it, some people hate it, I like it though, most important part of all.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

Sure, and I treat fashion like I treat my music.  I like sharing this stuff, fish for opinions, recommendations and suggestions, and find out who (dis)likes what.  Especially in getting an idea of other people's tastes and style and seeing if it clicks with yours.

A girl yesterday laughed at me and told me that I should wear clothes "my age" i.e. stop with the Japanese black boy imitations or the chavish tracksuits and wear something a bit more smart casual.

Fuck her. Wear what you want.

This particular look might make some of you lot cringe, and I'm not so sure about it myself, but what are your honest opinions?

    (Clicky for piccy!)

I like the overall look, but personally I wouldn't wear pants that tight, nor would I wear those shoes. Not necessarily hostile towards white shoes in general, just don't like those particular ones.

Otherwise, any suggestions on 'smart casual' (hate that term)?

Yeah, but my take on that is a unique style. I ain't sharin.  Tongue

    fuck you

I really like these kind of dry 'pastel colours'.

Yes i love pastels as well.

i would love this coral shade if it was a bit more "dry"

I do have a weakness for teal!

I would probably listen to eph on this one then, since I just took a quick look through the GQ style tips for men, and this look is in.   Undecided

Plus, I'm more into the leather/suit, gladiator look anyway.

Only sometimes, but you're talking "smart casual', so I was thinking more along the lines of something like this:

    ------------------------

Me being the white guy on the left.

Plus, I'm more into the leather/suit, gladiator look anyway.

Yeah, that's a nice "smart casual" look appropriate for a nice restaurant, bar or theater-- a leather gladiator suit.

    fuck you

Leather OR suit, OR gladiator.  Get it right, don't blame my punctuation either.

Although I do hope gladiator suits as casual attire comes back into fashion one day.

An all-white getup (when done right) is criminally underrated.

I like this except the belt.

I don't know why, but I can't stand belts of any kind.

Though, and here comes the MJ fanboy in me again, I always like how Mike rocked the white tie as a belt..

That's surprisingly nice, even if my bald granddad wear the same cap.

It's the actual thing, not a knock-off I ever wear knock-off, the quality is always shit on knock-offs. its about £700

The only problem is, I have skinny legs, and that is skinny jeans, don't want to end up looking gay, and have guys hitting on me, and women thinking am gay. I stopped wearing my mascara for that reason.

I must be really bad at finding examples of the look I like on a man.  Or the examples available are really bad.

    Anyway.

Blazers with denim, nice denim jeans, that have some style.

Single breasted suits (as long as the trousers aren't as tight as those in the example) and as long as the suit fits.  I'm not into these small looking suits for men that are back in fashion.  But if the suit is right:

I could be yours for the night.  I love suits on a man.

But casual, I love blazers and demin, the right shirt or t shirt, and LEATHER accessories.

Q, it's like knowing that the girl you are out with has on a garter under her clothes, if you have a fetish for a garter, then knowing it's there is a bonus no?  a bit of leather tied into any outfit works for me.

I'm not into sports clothes on a man either,  or the ghetto look, if I want to see your boxers and arse hanging out I will pants you.

I'm just lame at finding examples.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.
