    OK I might as well give this a go:-

    Any girls in the London area, preferably of Pakistani origin for convenience's sake (but any "muslim" background will do - Indian, Turkish, Bangladeshi , Middle Eastern, Iranian etc) , I am definitely up for meeting for a drink with a view to some sort of relationship. Getting to that age when everyone else is getting married, and my parents (who actually know my beliefs) would still prefer me to be with someone 'nominally' Muslim - so I'm just putting it out there.

    So - I'm a 28 year old , 5'7 , agnostic-deist British Pakistani doctor, living in London. My job's actually all right in terms of busy-ness, except for the odd on-call and I have a pretty typical  London junior doctor social life, going out a lot with work colleagues or  uni friends who work in the banking etc. Love travelling and am still renting as keep blowing all those deposit savings on holidays. Looking to settle down with the right person.

    Interests wise - love music -I'm as happy listening to decent bhangra/hindi remixes as I am to the Stone Roses, or US house remixes of hip hop or r'n'b tunes.   Play a bit of electric guitar. Also bit of a movie geek, when I get the time, and love reading about history, anthropology, science and art. I'll watch football and cricket when it's on but am not an addict.

    I've been told I'm not bad looking and easy to get on with.

    Hi Maya - well, that ended about this time last year! Been single since then.

    She turned out to be quite manipulative, and was increasingly less 'tolerant' about my beliefs the longer we went out, despite her initial impression of being cool with me "the way I am"....should have seen it coming really, but got sucked in. It got to the stage where I was considering changing a LOT about myself, but she was barely budging an inch when it came to compromise, and it just wasn't right. You live, you learn.

    I'm slightly geeky. Love my games, especially my MMO's. Well, especially WOW. I can disappear for days in that. My PS3 is my best friend even tho I have been neglecting it for a while. I love my comics and anime, especially Vampire Knights and Bleach. And a old hobby of mine used to be tracking down Pokemon cards

    I can cook (well spicy food, no mild stuff).  I love my movies and museums.
    And my hats.
    Loveee my hats.
