    I've specialised a bit in laser physics/semiconductors, but I have an aesthetic interest in astrophysics, I like to ponder on the bigger questions like fundamentally how the universe began and on 'the theory of everything', string theory with multi-dimensions (theoretical curled spacial dimensions that weren't 'stretched' as the other three have), vibrating membranes being the cause of the big bang etc.

    I also find some neuroscience, psychology, artificial intelligence etc interesting.

    What about you, what areas do you like?

    Hi all, I'm back, hope we are all doing well

    Great thread, thanks Islame, oh boy it's a bit late to write about myself and what I'd like to see in a partner. But quickly then since I am starting to think about this all:

    I am:
    - Male, 25, slim, 5ft 4, Bangladeshi decent
    - Outgoing, adventurous, caring, sporty
    - Currently swimming 3-4 times a week, 20 chinups a day
    - Recently started a job in the City of London and finishing up an MSc
    - Regularly keep up with current affairs, the economy, politics, science and technology
    - Will be living with my rents for the next year or so, but may move out if commuting becomes too tough
    - Am generally interesting: have worked in the UK, India, Germany the past 5 years and travelled to the Far East, USA, Europe, South Asia, Middle east also.

    Seeking:
    - A woman to see if we are a suitable ... who knows where things may go ... Smiley
    - Between 22-26
    - Fun, caring, affectionate, passionate, understanding
    - At least a BSc, preferably MSc in a science/maths/engineering/law or medical degree
    - Generally fit, happy take part in sports
    - Must like romance, travelling, and have good sense of humour
    - A positive outlook in life and able to reach compromises
    - If possible, can deal with an undercover relationship and also understand the complexity of an ex-Muslim and their relationship with parents/relatives

    Oh, and finally proof I try to stay in shape!

    Why, dont you think that there's a remote chance of a single exmuslim in Canada or going there who may be not even be signed up yet, viewing the thread.

    Most relationships (including my own marriage & previous relationships) all starts off by the smallest of coincidences, so until you open yourself to everyone availlable to you, and assuming your dont believe in fate then how else could this this happen to you?

    Hmmm... well, maybe I should post what I want and a picture.

    What I want in a man:

    Should be asexual or at least okay without having sex (I'm asexual and hate men looking only for sex).
    Between 22-30.
    Have a job, doesn't matter if it's full time or parttime.
    Has a degree or still is in college (and has plans of finishing of school).
    Likes animals.
    Is okay with a not very religious, non-Muslim (they're very un-Catholic) family.
    Is between 5'5-6".

    About me:

    I'm 21.
    A history major with minors in creative writing and philosophy.
    4'11".
    Love to read, write, scrapbook, listening to music (metal, grunge, classic rock, some country) and work out.
