    Okay, I'm new to these forums so let me introduce myself;

    Yesterday I randomly searched for ex-muslim on Google because I'm so tired of not being able to express my opinions, my thoughts, my feelings openly to my muslim family and network. To be able to communicate with open-minded people is essentially what I've been searching for in many years. Rather naively, I hope this forum can provide some sort of platform that allows that.

    I'm half Pakistani, half Danish of origin - born and raised in Scandinavia. I do not mind moving. I'm divorced; I was married to a muslim man but it never felt just right.
    I'm slim, fit and 167 cm. I've got a masters degree in business.

    Interests
    I'm a geek at heart. I could spend hours watching debates on youtube. My heroes include Lawrence Krauss, Richard Dawkins, Bill Maher and Michio Kaku. I also enjoy documentaries, especially space documentaries.
    I play some games - I play a raiding priest in World of Warcraft. I like rpgs such as final fantasy, star ocean, wild arms.
    I enjoy reading books, listening to music and, well, all the good things in life.

    You
    Preferably a closet muslim my age or older who understands my situation and perhaps share similar experiences.
    I want someone I can communicate with, who is curious about life and isn't afraid to question cultural values etc.
    At the end of the day I just want someone who can make me laugh.

    RPG games are awesome, I prefer single player ones though like Mass Effect, Star Wars: KoTOR, Divinity etc.

    Strategy war games are even better, especially the Command & Conquer series.  dance Did start playing Dota 2 not too long ago, too many heroes though and they nerf'd my favourite one!

    26 Y/O male. Half American, half Russian. Agnostic atheist, open-minded to spiritual concept. Living in Saudi, but hoping to move to the US (Texas) within a year. I'm not obsessed with sex. I have a unique blend of wisdom and insanity. They say I'm smart, but the only evidence I have of that are video game high scores. I don't like playing by society's rules, so most of the time I don't participate in social activities.

    I'm only half a nerd. I have a high capacity for obsession with video games and TV shows, but only when they are perfectly suited for me. I love good storytelling, and I prefer cheesy entertaining ones over boring masterpieces.

     Because that's where my American family is. I'd actually prefer to move to a colder, greener place.

    Also, while I can't speak for everyone, my personal experience says otherwise about men in particular. Maybe it's just Saudi Arabia, the land of the sexually-starved people, but my experience with internet communities isn't that much better.

    Yes - anything with do with Final Fantasy counts! Which is your favourite? Mine is definitely 7 and 8. I wasn't impressed by 9, 10-2, 11, 12 (the one with lightning) at all. I used to skip school so I could stay home and play those games. Good times.
    Strategames are cool too. I used to be addicted to Tiberian Sun back in the days. I tried playing Starcraft II but I always panicked when the enemy approached, hehe.
    Dota is a bit like LoL right? In any case I didn't like LoL.

    Never bothered with intros much since you get to some posters on here in full flow on particular threads.

    You could create a pyschological profile of some of the posters on here!
    No free mixing of the sexes is permitted on these forums or via PM or the various chat groups that are operating.

    Women must write modestly and all men must lower their case.

    Um, no. FF12 sucked. It was too linear.
    Visually it was beautiful but the storyline was beyond horrible.

    FF9 is acceptable.
    You got to know the characters a little more unlike FF8 that only focused on Squall and Rinoa.
    Also, it had a cute storyline.
