    One suggestion.

    Make a separate sub forum for each country and then we can create separate threads for each area or city. 

    When meeting and ex muzzie from the internet in person I prefer to use the Pork and Beer Test

    Make the other person eat some food with pork or bacon in it and wash it down with an alcoholic beverage like beer.

    Good idea. Right now I fixed most of the issues with the settings of the site and I uploaded a new logo. Now I just need to focus on the boards and whatnot. If I don't do it tonight, then I will start tomorrow.

    That's not even a test. A muslim with ill intent would find no difficulty in rationalizing such an action, if it were for the "good of Islam" or whatever.

    A lot of ex–muslims I’ve spoken to (admittedly most of them online!) still have an issue with those products. Posts on this forum would attest to that.

    At the moment I've just rolled home drunk from my cousin's wedding. Much whiskey and wine, plus a singing duet who claim to have flown in from Chicago to preform jazz/blues. Yeah, like I believe that accent is genuine. Still, food, music, drink, company, and love. Not a bad night. Wish I had a girl with me, I needed a date Cheesy

    ok. now I'm really confused.  You said the site was for dating but it seems like just another ex muslim forum.......   Huh?

    you have a a "lounge" and separate boards for talking about philosophy, politics, religion, music, art and movies just like this forum does.

    how would you use that for dating Huh?

    I mean we might as well use this thread for dating then, especially since this forum already has a steady member base and traffic.

    Can you post somewhere on the front page that in order to access the dating section of the site you should create an account.

    Otherwise people won't know that it's a dating site or how to access the dating section on their first visit

    The next step would be to promote your dating site on ex muslim reddit in addition to this forum and maybe after a year or two the site might start attracting people.

    I think there is a danger here.

    Either it's a dating site or it isn't. People may just come on for a chit-chat and then get involved in a conversation 'for fun' thus not using the dating site for its principal purpose and talk to another member who is looking for a partner and raise expectations. This would be incredibly annoying.

    If it's a chit-chat forum then there's no point.

    Keep it dating and as professional as possible because I can see people thinking that it's not as serious as it should be. If people wanted to chit-chat about religion/philosophy then they may do that via PM/email etc. Anyway, I would ahte to go on to a dating site and get in a conversation about religion/politics/religion etc. As murtads we should try and move away from this.

    yeah I agree. If they want to chit chat we already have this forum as well as ex muslim reddit.

    I mean regular dating site don't have places to talk about religion, politics, philosophy etc.

    I don't want to have to go to the dating site and then have to go through the pain of figuring out who is on there for dating and who isn't.

    The main advantage of online dating is that you know that everyone on there is looking to date someone. If you remove that advantage, the dating site becomes inefficient and you would have to waste huge of amounts of time talking to people who don't even want to date.

    If people want to chit chat then the front page should re direct them to this forum instead.

    Completely agree with that idea. The meeting/dating thread on CEMB has become a joke and I think people want someone serious to go to.

    These are only suggestion.

    Movingfeet you've done tremendous work and thankyou sweetheart. Like I mentioned before, anyone who gets married and has kids as a consequence of meeting on 'Murtad Love' MUST name their first child after Movingfeet (the second child after me - but only if it's a boy (jk)).  Cheesy

    I see where  you two are coming from. I created the chit-chat so that members could talk about different topics and get to know each other more through that. Sometimes, romance arises from mutual opinions on a topic instead of the conventional meet and date kind of stuff. Anyway, I may just remove the philosophy, religion, and policits boards.. merge them into "serious topics" or something.
