no it is spread out both are the same ... one maddadnaha is a word with more than just the verb (mada)=(to spread out)
it has a (naha) meaning (it). so its (we spread it out)
he (mada) the earth = he (has spread) the earth
and the earth (madadnaha) =and the earth (was spread "it"(hidden in english not the case in arabic) out)(naha = "it "refers to the earth in this sentence)
its just a different sentence structure
