Are they male, female or undecided? The question is not unimportant.

    Male and Female.

Everywhere ulterior motives lurk, everyone is suspect.

So true, unfortunately. Cry  I have (lack of) trust issues with my family too.
I blame religion.  Religion is the oppressor and we are all its victims. Cry

Time was when I was kicked out of my Islamic school for drawing nude pictures of my absurdly fat teacher in my text book. I was administered a terrific slap by the headmaster, given an earful, and railroaded out of the place never to set foot in the joint again. I recommend it.

WOW, Bison!!  Hehe!  You were a naughty boi.

^  Yes, my immediate family know about my apostasy and their invisible sky-daddy is denying them the right to have relations with a heathen murtad.

So you don't talk to them at all? Not even your siblings?

^ I don't want to talk about my family problems, but yes, communication with my family is quite limited.  One or two of my siblings are good, and I can talk to them if needed.  To be honest, I'm not going to whine about it.  I've moved on and accepted my new life.

Again, I blame religion.  It is a virus of the mind (in the form of ideas).  If only my family (and all religious people) could see this.

My daughters' religious education is largely the business of the Hebrew who shares my bed. She happens to be a liberal Christian that goes to a Church presided over by a lesbian pastor with a guitar who preaches to a congregation of crossdressers that Jesus is cool with homosexuality. Not to imply that all the church-goers are crossdressers. Certainly no more than 40, 60, percent and me only on Sundays.

The extent of the raging domestic strife on matters theological may be gauged from here (bring a safety helmet though, it's frightfully dangerous):

Aww alright, I must have missed it (you're a posting machine!) or maybe because sometimes when I read your posts, I don't know if you're joking or true stories.  grin12

Hope things will be ok with your family.  hugs

Hmmm... how much are you willing to pay me?

I will buy you a greasy cheeseburger with ketchup running out of it. And I will let you suck my toe as well for good measure. Unwashed. But really my sweet, for that pleasure I should be charging lucrative sums.

All I know is that the universe is a beautiful & complicated place. I think we are beautiful beings. Everyday I find something to marval at. I just hope I don't get burned in eternal torment because I miscalculated the truth level of a 7th Century camel salesman's feverish rantings. ~ BlackDog
