    I continue to find it saddening that you think man cannot appreciate without also resenting. However, as I have said above, you can't prove your point by asking for my anecdotal evidence. I don't think much more can be said about this, clearly you don't seem open to the possibility that any act of admiration can remain one without also being tainted by a bruised ego. I think it is very much a possibility that man can aim for the higher aspirations of the sublime and beautiful no matter how much it is true that most of us, as you say, are stuck in the mud.

    I would not consider this jealousy, but I do envy seeing friends who are in good relationships. Seeing happy couples can irritate me lol, especially when I'm a 3rd or 5th wheel. Why do they even bother inviting the single guy? wacko
