The Heart of the Matter - Graham Green, read the book years and years ago, but completely forgot the story, found the book the other day, thought it would be fun to read it again, I am  surprised I don't recall reading the story!

I bought this book yesterday and I finished it yesterday! It is GOOOOOD! (and sad, but yeah very very good, not exactly sure how to describe it tbh....Maybe it struck a chord with me because of the cultral context and I've never read a book in that setting before)

The Buddha's a dick, he walked out on his wife and kid without even telling them.

That's what I thought. Today people like that are quite rightly regard as assholes.

Good Conduct Well Chastised, which is the abridged version of Sade's Justine. Cruel, hot, and actually quite humorous, I think (due to otherworldly naivete of the heroine and her ridiculously bad luck). There are also plenty of amusing sex-related euphemisms.

First erotic book I ever ventured to read, and enjoying it so far Roll Eyes
I'm only like 15% in though.
