Someone stole my fucking idea:  finmad

My post on the subject almost a year ago:
    http://www.councilofexmuslims.com/index.php?topic=8877.0

Selling Oxygen in a can in the UK, which only came on the market late this year!
    http://www.bodykind.com/browse/30-Oxygen-Canisters.aspx

Since I actually searched for such a product back when I had the idea, and there were no products at least on the net selling what i proposed in the UK.

My next business idea is, based on nanotechnology, it would be automated blood oxygen regulators. Which would detect changes in oxygen levels in the blood stream. Need to patent this shit!

Good luck getting a patent for that.

Nobody robbed you of a great idea, what's stopping you from selling bottled oxygen?  There's more than one company selling bottled water, after all.  Anyway, you weren't the first to think of it....

Already been done in the US at least. About 5-6 years ago I stopped at a gas station just outside the Holland Tunnel on the Jersey side, and they had canisters of Oxygen for sale.

Thank you for that pdf file dear Kenan ., Please either PM me or add here any pdf files that you think are relevant to  Oxygen and its metabolic reactions..

Incidentally I worked in this field with a well known Biophysicist on  Oxidative Phosphorylation and free radical chemistry in biology  and published more than 20 papers .,  my most recent work on that was pubed in Nature last year March.,  It is very complicated and blaming Tissue damage due free radicals is only one problem..

The pdf file is a some sort of semi review for Doctors.., They are right in certain aspects  for e.g.
    Quote
100% oxygen can be tolerated at sea level for about 24- 48 hours without any serious tissue damage

this oxygen toxicity indeed is a serious problem with patients that can not move and worse specially with COPD patients., it is in fact a wrong method to treat such people as  ARDS guys on ventilators woth 100% O2 ., But the game become quickly different with healthy people that are good enough to consume oxygen and generate ATP + controlled free radicals where they are needed..

The pulsed oxygen therapy is becoming more popular in well known hyperbaric  research centers in west

I would say free radicals in biology are as important as ATP synthesis for the growth of an organism with these side reactions controlling deleterious biology that is detrimental to a given organism..

Any way thanks for that paper ..please feel free to discuss..

    with best wishes

If you have really have an idea that you want to patent doesn't it make sense to keep it to yourself and not tell us?  Wink

I thought of the idea independently as a quick fix cure for hangovers, but I realized the idea was commercialized in the USA, but according to my searches back then on the internet, I could not find a similar product targeted at the UK market. Need to think of a new idea to be honest. Maybe a software program linked to all the electronics in the house, so you can program things in the house remotely like turning the heating on/off, lights on/off you get the picture.

Or another device I am thinking of is a commercialized DNA verification process, to to do Criminal Records Bureau investigations on folks you want to employ which would be linked to the police data base, and give you a CRB on a person within 5 minutes, the only think you need is just a hair from the person you want to do a CRB on.

eBay wasn't the first online auction.
Microsoft wasn't the first Operating System.
And Google was definately not the first search engine.

Call it Project Big Brother, Inc.

You could probably recruit HO as an investor on that one.  Cheesy

You would also need a state where nobody had ever heard of civil liberties.

US businesses are allowed to run DNA checks on prospective employees?

Yep, I don't know of any law preventing it, though some states (but certainly not all) require consent of the prospective employee to do a criminal background records check, but there's already a disturbing amount of personal info in the hands of private vendors nowadays including criminal records and genetic information. We've even subcontracted Homeland Security intelligence collection to private businesses running out of Israel. It's scary shit, man.

Oh Jaysus.  You guys need a better social security system, if you had one nobody in their right mind would agree to a DNA sample demand from a prospective employer.  I don't think Tut's idea will work in  the UK though, everybody would just go on the dole.

Why the knee jerk reaction? If you commit a crime in the UK, the police have your DNA anyway. Imagine you need to employ someone to work with children you could find out in 5 minutes of the person is on the sex-offenders register. Of course, for human-rights reasons they would have to sign a disclose. If you have nothing to hide, then why not go ahead with a DNA check?

Also, there could be another plan to this, in the legal wording, make it so that all those who are not on the CRB you collect their data anyway and lock it on the a DNA data base, and some years down the line have a nationalized dna data base where everyone's biometrics will be kept. It would make solving crimes alot more easier, you could have DNA checks when you go to collect your dole, and if you have a warrant the money will not be given to the person and the police will be infomred of the location of the person....

Also you can have this in shops and, use it to pay for services, so you don't need to carry credit cards and money. You can also do this so you don't need to carry ID either no passports, just a quick DNA check.

What if find is its always minorities that oppose these kinds of things, and most of the time it is those guys doing fraud, tax envisions etc, its quite common in the British Desi community. They are all defrauding the system. Frankly there should be a law, if you are not born in the UK but have a British nationality if you commit a crime or two minor crimes, you should be stripped of your British nationality, and be deported.
