So again apart from their cause, how are you different from Muslim terrorists in their attitude towards innocent civilian casualties?

The way you are attempting to make this into something worse with your over use of terrorist and referral to them and emotional/personal appeals makes no difference to me.
I see no good guys in this, the difference being. I accept that reality.

You can replace the word muslim terrorists with somali pirates if you like, the key part of the sentence was this -  civilians killing innocent civilians.

I agree its inevitable, but like I say, only when people believe the same as you do - whether they be Greenpeace activists, Muslims, Somalians, or even Nazis.

I would partly agree with you if the people they were holding hostage were the actual fisherman/radiation dumpers themselves.

So do you see what the pirates are doing at least as morally objectionable?

Like I said, carry on attempting to link Piracy with terrorism.

    Depends on what you mean.
Somali Pirates 9.9/10 do not kill the hostages (no money in it). So I have no idea where you are getting the whole Pirates are killing civilians all the time, they are not. That is BS, one or two may go rogue but generally when the civilians are calm and do not fight  they are well looked after and when ransom is paid, they are released.
Edit: If  they kill a innocent person for no reason, the pirates do operate under their own rules. They get the death sentence for it.
But if you mean whether I oppose hijacking ships in Somali waters. No, I hope it continues and flourishes. If the Pirates hijack ships off IW and get shot, they asked for it

Anybody who thinks armed robbery is the same as Islamist terrorism like 9/11 needs a fuckin reality check. The point of the former is to get money, the point of the latter is to kill as many people as possible. It's not an accident that the courts treat these two crimes differently.

    fuck you

Why not for them to be pirates? I don't see the problem.

I don't begrudge anyone anything. As I said, both sides will be armed. If Somali's get the money, they earned it if they dodged all those countries navies. If they don't, they knew the risk.

I laugh at how this is when the world pays attention. Not when nuclear waste and over fishing was occurring in Somalia but the second they strike back. It's the end of the world and those terrorists must be stopped  Cheesy

Yes agreed but that's not the point is it?  What makes you think that the money gained is going to be invested wisely and with all of Somalia in mind?  If they continue targeting tankers and cargo ships that have nothing to do with their problems they're going to end up against enemies they can't beat and certain companies will continue abusing of their situation

To be honest, the pirates don't strike me as being Robin hood types either.

    As opposed to what?
No business at all and starvation?

I don't blame 'em and if it brings in money, good for them.

You clearly don't seem to realise that what they do is going to be very unsustainable eventually.   The Russians, Chinese and Indians are not particularly interested in dialogue with them.  Then what are they going to do?

I still support the Pirates and hey, if people don't want their ships hijacked.

Have any sailors or shipmates been murdered or maimed by the pirates? What happens when in the future a sailor from a third world country is killed, leaving his family destitute? Would you still support the pirates then?

Never mind the pain and torment they experience when their breadwinner is kidnapped, held hostage, chained up with a gun in his face.

    I guess they don't count.

    Ah, I see.

Most of the shipmates and sailors on this ships tend to be from developing countries themselves. So yeah, who gives a fuck if a man from Karachi, Mumbai, Mombasa or Manila is shot dead and his kids grow up without a father, condemned to a life of hardship, their lives ruined, all because some pirates be ballin' in Somalia.
