NCRI - The commander of the Iranian regime’s suppressive State Security Forces (SSF) in Tehran, Hossein Sajedinia, has warned that his forces are on high alert, in the latest display of the regime’s jitters over potential uprisings following the recent removal of subsidies.

The state-run Mehr news agency quoted Sajedinia as saying, “The police has been put on high alert following the targetization of subsidies,” referring to a regime plan launched on Sunday that ends state subsidies and will lead to higher prices for basic goods.

“In Tehran, police units combating financial fraud and smuggling of goods are 100 percent ready and are executing special assignments, too,” he said.
