Ohh so they are allah dolls?

     Cheesy Cheesy

well in that sense every one is a Doll of Allah., I am not saying in that sense.,

The word Allah comes out of a the Pagan Goddess of Arabia, where Muhammad(PBUH)'s father apparently was a priest of that pagan temple.

    The Goddess name is  Al-Lat

So I call Allat as allah doll..

I dont normally like saris but she looks good in one!  Ive unquoted the pic, so we can be reminded of what she like whilst she's still alive.  Lets face it, its a privilidege to be a Bhutto & still be breathing.

The funny thing is, it's the 'freshly' converted[I had to fight hard to resist using a much stronger word here, though it would have been more appropriate] western women who make a song and dance of wearing the 'tent'.

Shame to take this discussion away from the heavenly Miss Bhutto, but, here's a video of the killer of Salman Taseer singing a song of praise to Mohammad in the police station. Looks well chilled out.

Don't understand the comments in urdu underneath but they are all congratulating him, calling him 'Ghazi' ie: slayer of infidels.

Women like Fatima Bhutto is the reason there is no freedom of religion Pakistan. She looks like a Hindu woman with the bindi on her forehead. I challenge those Pakistani Muslims who claim that everyone will submit to Allah if they got the message of Islam, to let there be freedom of religion in Pakistan only for 5 years, let us see what happens.

As I understand it, Ghazi is used and has come to be used as an honorific for someone who fights infidels, it has that resonance wider than just warrior.

Yeah kinda like the term crusader or mujahid--more frequently used

LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich said on Thursday that the assassination of Salman Taseer could be a conspiracy against Pakistan.

Talking to mediamen after Rasm-e-Qul of Salman Taseer at Governor's House, he alleged that the murder of Punjab Governor took place due to security lapse as the Punjab government was responsible for his security.

    http://www.thenews.com.pk/NewsDetail.aspx?ID=8843

I wouldn't be surprised if his colleagues were involved coz the whole security establishment (police as well as military) seem to have a soft spot for certain militant groups! They know where the madrassahs are, who funds them etc. but only act (rather slowly) AFTER an attack!

and tell me what is wrong with Ed Husain

    Quote
Husain was born and brought up in the East End of London, in a Bangladeshi family. A descendent of the Shah family from north west India, he is also the uncle of a highly controversial figure, Naseem/Patrick Ghani, leader of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain and Bangladesh.[5] Husain's father was born in British India and his mother in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh),[6] from the region of Sylhet.[7] His father arrived to the United Kingdom in 1961, and started a small Indian takeaway business in Limehouse.[8] Husain's parents followed a spiritual form of Islam based on Sufi traditions,[9] led by Sheikh Abdul Latif Fultoli (whom he called 'Grandpa'),[10] a renowned Islamic spiritual guru from Sylhet.[11]

It is NOT just colleagues dear Aphrodite ., I am fairly certain this murder goes much higher ups in to Punjab's power house..  Any ways the news says  the rogues want to conduct a Suicide attack on the poor Christan woman

'Blasphemous' Asia Bibi facing suicide attack threat in Pakistan

    Quote
Bibi, the Christian woman who triggered a blasphemy furore in Pakistan and in whose defence Punjab governor Salman Taseer lost his life, is facing a threat of a suicide attack inside a jail, where she is currently lodged.

The "Moaviya group", a militant organisation plans to mount a suicide attack on Sheikhupura district jail, where 45-year-old Asia is being held, The Express Tribune quoted its sources as saying. An intelligence report issued last week has corroborated threat to her life.

      http://www.somalinet.com/forums/

Now there is new group.. Moaviya group,

According to official figures, 131 people are being held in jails across Punjab on blasphemy charges.  Eleven of them have been sentenced to death, including Asia Bibi, who was the first woman to be given the penalty  and  35 people, including Taseer, who were accused of committing blasphemy or defending those charged with blasphemy have been killed between 1990 and 2011.

    Interesting video.

But this animosity towards the westernised liberal elite in Pakistan he talks about - I wonder if a portion of it at least is fuelled by social rather than religious/identity issues.

Probably.  But these still become religious issues in the end e.g. the social issues are caused by religious issues not being adhered to.  Its an endless cycle, that is perpetuated by their urdu media.

Errr no, wtf what does religion have to do with corrupt politicians?? That is the real social issue! The poor remain poor (ie the majority) whereas a few elite get richer by taking loans from the IMF stuffing their own pockets and then making the people pay it off by raising prices and taxes! Also to have politicians educated in the west leading pakistan is like having politicians in britain that went to the islamic university in Islamabad  Cheesy these politicians are aliens to the average pakistani. Having said that I think Imran Khan is the man to lead Pakistan although I expect he's not liked on here due to his anti-american stance  whistling2

Durrrr.  There would be no corruption if true Islam was in Pakistan.  You need to spend more time with religious nutjobs, or the average Joes in Pakistan that support the blasphemy law.

Everything. Bear in mind that in Pakistan Islam is not simply a lifestyle choice but its enforced thorough social pressure.

The mores of predominant interpretation of Islam that anchors the majority of Pakistanis lead to a social, technological, moral and every other kind of disadvantage.

Having said that I think Imran Khan is the man to lead Pakistan although I expect he's not liked on here due to his anti-american stance  whistling2

Personally I dislike Imran Khan not just because he is a populist simpleton selling his radicalising bullshit to people who unfortunately live under the circumstances where such simplistic bullshit actually seems like a viable option but also because he is a hypocrite (allegedly that is something you hate immensely too  whistling2).

"Third, the nauseating hypocrisy of Pakistan’s radicalising West-hating, West-baiting leaders needs to be exposed. For example, Imran Khan — who speaks of the West as the fountainhead of evil — prefers to keep his family in London and New York, owes his fame to a game invented by British colonialists, and employs real doctors rather than hakeems for his cancer hospital."

Great cricketer though, what a legend.

Anyway I find Imran fascinating - he's a thoroughly modern Muslim. In as much that when he was young he spent his life shagging and drinking, was a fixture on the London Sloane set party circuit, sired children out of wedlock, then when he hit middle age he rediscovered his religion and ummah and became an Islamo-bore. A defining narrative, that.

I much prefer the younger Imran, by all accounts, great company at a party  Afro
