WTF is up with all the constant homo-erotic blurb that you always pad every single post of yours?

You know what's gonna come your way now don't you Hassan....

If the Bison is a hormonally-charged guy full of dangerous chemicals, don't you have a moral responsibility to cover up your cute buns?

This reasoning sounds awfully Islamic. Replace Bison with any male and you have the perfect excuse for the hijab.

I often wonder myself Hassan, usually before I nod off.  There's not much left of his posts if you filter out all that crap.

Religion is ignorance giftwrapped in lyricism.

You of course are free to write in any style you like and the first few times I read your posts they made me laugh... but now I just scan your posts to see if it's just homo-erotic tumbling in the hay or whether you actually have something to say.

Still love you, MAB  Afro  and I don't mean that in a homo-erotic way. grin12

    Excellent idea.
I always read MAB through a filter and not only is he funny, he also makes some good points. No homo.

I've noticed that all the homoerotic stuff has an apparent meaning and seven layers of hidden meaning, which may not be homo and may not be erotic Wink

I think MAB's writing style is good, but I have two problems with it:

    1) It is a good voice in which to write stories or something, not a good voice to just be chatting with friends/forumers. Sounds forced and attention-seeking.

    2) It's repetitive. You use the same jokes, turns of phrases, double entendres, etc., and just the voice in general is boring to read after awhile. Branch out a little MAB, I'm sure if you tried a different style once in awhile, it would be great.

There are some people I want to banish for life, foremost of whom are Kenan and Alex and Prince. The brutes. I drop the idea to others and silently pass on.

Hassan, how is the mother of your twelve barefoot children? I miss her. Your tongue lashing, received in a fraternal spirit, is not exclusive to you. The impression has been allowed to form in the Republic of the Godless that I’m a sex fiend. It’s been imperishably stamped on me. That’s my persona, that’s who I am.  How should I respond to this? I might of course concede the point like a perfect gentleman and, conceding, offer that soft word which turneth wrath away. But to the detriment of what for want of a better word is commonly known as the truth. Fact is the vast bulk of my output is not penile eruptions. Glance at my numerous threads and I’m confident that you will find they are fit to print in any public journal, fit to read to your daughter, fit to hand even to the Christers.  What you refer to is not my considered views, on which I lavish some time polishing, but my off-the-cuff remarks made in quick response on threads not mine.

On such threads I have two options: To post a banal comment universally acknowledged, or to strike out on my own. I don’t read most of the comments on the message board. Not because I dissent from them.  Doubtless  I agree with nine tenths of what is posted. No, I skip them ‘cause in trying to capture the essence of the true, the good and the beautiful, they inescapably suggest a gorilla’s attempt to play the violin. They are not thoughts. They are platitudes. The commonplace of every schoolboy of ten. To this I should conform?

Tell you what Hass. If my runaway libido robs you of sleep, create a poll to determine how many share your sentiment and I will abide by the decision of the majority if you prevail by dialling it down. I’m a democrat. Always have been, always will. Be warned though: The Bison castrated will not be the same. Vote wisely. And don’t frame the question partially. Let us have no psephological manipulation.

But if the will of the Republic is against you, I want to be elevated to a Mod. Call it a quid pro quo. There are some people I want to banish for life, foremost of whom are Kenan and Alex and Prince. The brutes. I drop the idea to others and silently pass on.

I love you, Bison - but you must forgive me, because I am a bit of a prude, brought up in middle England. No sex please! That should be tucked under the carpet along with politics, emotions and anything that makes one feel awkward - yet the middle-eastern in me struggles with this - not to mention the Irish in me... I said don't mention it!!!  grin12

    @MAB

Harken not to these detractors and nay-sayers.

Your style is awesome, and while it may be labelled as 'repetitive' and 'two-dimensional' by those of small mind, I myself could only hope to emulate such eloquent form.

    Homo.
