     Afro

For too long Arabs have felt they have no share or stake in their countries - they are disenfranchised. They see their leaders and those above them robbing and stealing and filling their pockets and taking bribes. So they lose their sense of pride and moral responsibility for their country and who can blame the poor taking bribes too. It's become a way of life for so long.

This is a breath of fresh air!

I want to see it sweep through the Arab and Muslim world.

Christian/Muslim Crowd: "One hand! One hand! One hand! One hand! One hand! One hand!... "

Coptic Priest: "...We shall remain in this square until the tyrant falls!"

Crowd: "Let the Tyrant Fall! "Let the Tyrant Fall! "Let the Tyrant Fall! "Let the Tyrant Fall!..."

I too want so much to believe that this revolution will not only kick Mubarak out - but also be the start of something new in the whole of the Arab world.

As for the army... and what happens next... we will see... we will see...

of course, if the Egyptian people succeed then the other tyrants would at least start to think twice before they slap their people around.

After talks Muslim Brotherhood spokesperson said they were dissatisfied with what they heard from Omar Sulayman(Vice President) and added they stand by the demands of the protesters and want Democratically elected leader and they won't be fielding a candidate for President.

I've been told that US marines are used frequently to guard US embassies and American civilians abroad. Meaning IF they are going to Egypt it has nothing to do with the revolution or backing Mubarak.

Well Americans must have learned something that from that Iran hostage crisis  of 1979.  Imagine Some unknown group doing the same thing in Egypt what Iranian mullah students did during that crisis.. They better protect their Embassy personnel before it gets out of hand..

I really don't understand how can Mubarak expect the people to believe he is sincere about reform when he is still playing such dirty tricks and sending criminals to murder his own people.

Police let prisoners go free to spread chaos.

REPORT: Mubarak To Leave Egypt, Go To Germany For "Health Check"  says news..

    http://www.businessinsider.com/hosni-mubarak-resign-germany-2011-2
    Quote
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is to leave Egypt for medical treatment in Germany, at which time he'll give up his power as president, according to Der Spiegel.

The report suggests the plan is for Mubarak, who had been rumored to be suffering from cancer, to head to hospital near Baden-Baden in Germany. The hospital in question is Max-Grundig-Klinik Bühlerhöhe, and it is already in talks over the move, according to Der Spiegel.

The move is being organized by the U.S. government and elements within the Egyptian regime, as well as the German government, according to the report.

Mubarak is currently not in Cairo and would have to leave for Germany from his vacation home in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Well the man would have gone for vacation when he turned in to a 70 year old guy.. that was 13 years back....,  Sir  now ..  you are a Zombie.,... "sucker you are no sir"..  You can go for vacation but get that stashed out billions... millions.. whatever .. Egyptian money back into the country.

The numbers in Tahrir Square haven't dwindled but things around them seem to be getting back to 'normal' with Mubarak firmly occupying his position, what can be achieved by these guys remaining at the square?  What's the game plan, to sit in the square until Mubarak agrees to leave?  He clearly is not going to unless he is physically forced out - which means some sort of action on the part of the protesters... I hope they have a plan.

Oh please! The clerics in Egypt and the ikhwanis haven't been that vocal, so to compare it to 1979 is idiotic. Its NOT an "Islamic revolution" its a REVOLUTION full stop. We don't know whether that revolution will turn Egypt into a state with some aspects of Islam or not, but from what I've seen I can tell it isn't going to become as retarded as Iran or Saudi.

I  am not saying whole Egypt going the way Iran went after Shah regime., What I am saying is to take over an embassy you need 30 to 40 dedicated Allah loving Jihadis with enough Ammunition in hand., you have allah loving fellows along with weapons in Egypt and in the surroundings of Egypt. So what Im saying is  there is nothing wrong for Americans to send some of their protection force in to Egypt.  being safer is better than sorrier ..

I think they'd prefer to attack the Israeli embassy and plan attacks on Israel  Wink

    Check this out:

    Mubarak's empire remains strong

Though Egypt's economy has suffered in the protests, Mubarak's wealth is estimated at $70bn.

How dumb are the followers of the so-called religion of islam? It is just false hope to keep them in their place, humbled and bowed before their masters. Nothing has changed yet but the hope is that once they see what a crock of shit religion has always been and how well and happy secular/ non islamic countries truly are, they will want to go that route-have a fulfilled life with freedom and personal responsibility.
