The crowed in Mohali are Punjabi Sikhs mostly, and lets its put it this way alot of them Sikhs don't mind Punjabi Pakistanis, since many travel to places like Lahore to visit guru nanak's shrine and are treated with a great deal of respect. My Sikh friend once told me this was some years ago I think 2005 that when he went to Mohali and Armistra he saw posters of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale almost everywhere especially in the villages etc.

England ain't going to win it and the West Indians, my second team are out. So I'm going to support Pakistan, because the people there need something to cheer about, although I fear that they'll ascribe their victory to Allah's people against the kuffar or something.

I wonder whether That fellow is thinking that there are some Taliban playing in Indian Cricket team. He does have a point it appears that there are some suicidal characters in Indian Cricket  Team ..

I PROPOSE INDIA SHOULD OPEN THE BORDERS FOR THIS GAME .. Let the people of Pakistan Punjab  drive their Tractors with full of people in to Indian Punjab to watch the game..

I put a twenty quid on Pakistan at 6/1 to win the tournament after the Sri Lanka game and everyone was laughing! Judging by how the tournament is going, I'm not sure the same people will be laughing at the end of the tournament!

doc Z., the only way that Pakistan  will have a chance of beating that batting line of India is playing Shoaib Akhtar  against Indians.,  Without that Rawalpindi express  Indians will beat Pakistan  by more than 100 runs.   So I suggest to  this Boom Boom DUMB guy

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3CKdLfN31I

who left his batting a year back  to play Shoaib Akhtar   against Indians..

yeezeevee, India v Pakistan is one of those games where form goes out the window. Either side could win.

I think Sri Lanka are going to dump England out tommorow.

well the batting line of India has far more experience than Pakistan's players and when it comes to bowling the only guy who can take wickets from either side in these subcontinent conditions is Umar Gul and Zaheer Khan.  So I see a big role to   Shoaib Akhtar  and I think he should play this match.  The only problem with that guy is he can not bowl more than two or three overs at a time, So this boom boom  DUMB should use a bit of his brain instead of eating balls & chatting with bowlers on every ball their bowling and irritating the bowlers.

I agree yeez, Shoaib should be playng, but pace has not done much damage this world cup and most damage has been done by the slower bowlers and Shoaib has not got a very good slow ball that he can disguise, you have to play to the conditions Smiley

BTW, NZ s batting first against South Africa and they are 210/8 after 49 overs, SA need 2 more wickets in the last over to keep there 100% record of taking 10 wickets in each of the games they have played thusfar.

Yeah tough assignment for England tomorrow, facing two of the world’s best throw-ballers along with a pumped-up home crowd.

However, judging by what England of done so far in this tournament, the game should go down to the wire, and therefore it is anyone’s.

You don't become as good as the Aussies have been the last 20 years without being arrogant.

West Indies were arrogant in the 70's and 80's.

Its called 'swagger' and self belief.

well West Indies of that time were different breed ., they may be arrogant on the field due to their bowling and batting strengths but they were gentlemen off the field.  But those Australians were arrogant, insulting, racist and often out right CHEATERS..  Off course they mellowed down a lot in recent years..

You think the Windies sides of the 70s and 80s didn't trash talk, sledge, play hard, and be arrogant off the pitch? Come on, man.

I support England and I should hate the Aussies because of how they ruled over us for so long over the last generation, but I bloody well admire them for their ruthlessness.
