The point of this Thread/Topic, is quite clear, Religon is Religion, you can not defend one religion over the other, Religon is the same as Religion. Religion controlls masses and inherits its population with its own interests.
That is something of a truism that seems to be profound and a total truth but actually conceals as much as it shows.
There are similarities of intolerance, bigotry, narrow mindedness and extremism across most religions. There are commonalities of reactionary attitudes, insular minds, patriarchal structures.
But that doesn't mean that all religions are the same in every way, or that all religions are equally intolerant of dissent, criticism, or pluralist interpretations, or freedom of conscience.
So whilst it is true that bigots emerge from every religious tradition, not every religion denies liberal space in the same way, or refuses modernity in the same way.
