New member here. Atheist from Egypt, used to be Muslim till I was 18.
I need to get out of Egypt as soon as possible! D= I can't repress myself anymore and I can't handle the consequences of declaring my atheism, the conflict is hurting my psych.

Thanks. I'm 19, I study Engineering because my parents wanted me to. My father is a moderate Muslim and my mom is Salafist, and they'd either die if they knew I'm atheist. I became an atheist less than a year ago after two years of thought. I feel unsafe and tied down here and wish to get out as soon as possible, specially since the religious voices seem to be on the rise. I'm also bisexual, but that;'s beside the point. I'm in love with an American girl I've met online, more reason I want to get out. I also love science and fiction, and like to read about philosophy and politics.
