    But the relationship is the most important part for him right now. And many tunes the longer we wait to fix that void the larger it gets. And this problem may never be resolved but if he can repair the relationship and focus on the good and find a way to manage the bad I think he will be happier and I think that's his end goal. I'm not saying ignore the issue but it dosnt always have to be about the issue.

    I’ve got no desire to open this thread again and to go into all this crap again. I just feel I have to thank Islame, Abzm, Supermario and Nessa for the great advice and support they’ve given me since I last posted on here.

    Massive thanks to everyone who has contributed.  Its been a big help to have gotten things off my chest. I will bear much of what you’ve said in mind over the coming weeks, months, and hopefully years.

    I don't really wasn't to go into it mate, unless something decisive happens in the near future.

    All I'll say is that I'm still standing firm, but I miss her love, her smile, her cuddles, her fussing over me, and her wafles and eggs.

    Keep being nice to her. Give her your smiles, your happiness, and so on.  Your participation in religion is simply not up negotiation, that doesn't mean you can't love each other.  I imagine you'd even be willing to tell others you are a Muslim just for her.

    i think you are going back to islam,is very good decision,i'm very happy for you brother.dont listen to the people here,you get your wife in this world and in next world you get heaven if you beocme a muslim,and you get nothing if you dont,so i think you are definitely doing the right thing and good luck

    Sorry for jumping in a bit late in this discussion as I have been travelling lately and missed many threads of interest on this forum.
    . You have got hefty number of suggestion already however I can totally relate to your situation. When I started having doubts I shared them with my wife and we discussed them also. Then a time came when she was emotionally not accepting that her faith can be wrong. So she stuck to it and I had to pretend. She also told me that she will leave me if I leave Islam. We decided not to discuss religion for a while. Anyways lately she told me that she is getting away from religion because of the seed of doubts that I planted in her mind have grown. She no longer cares if I am a muslim or not. I am still not announcing my apostasy to her. Want her to make her own mind.
    Just wanted to share as your situation seems similar to mine. Hope everything turns out for you in the best way possible for you and also your son
