Nothing personal. I just wanted an excuse to post a cool quote and appear cultured.

It's never impressive or clever to glorify violence, but it's a lucky person who goes through life without having to resort to it.

Besides, a true martial artist walks away from a fight.

    Church.

    Should I?   Nah!...

Y'all can just search my posts.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I remain.

The first page of this thread is hilarious XD

I'm trying to get in shape enough to start a martial arts class. It's going okay, although I'm still weak as fuck and sticking to a good diet is proving more tricky than exercising regularly. I just have no idea which martial art to go for, as a beginner. _-_ I'm not too fussed about being able to knock 7 shades out of people, I just want something fun that will keep my body and mind sharp.

    Congrats, Ishina.

This is in Jujitsu?  What's next with your martial arts?  Besides being a bonafide badass... <3

Yeah, Jujitsu. I'm gonna put more hours in next year. Our instructor has talked about retiring in the next couple of years, so I wanna get as much of him and his experience as I can before I fly the nest. It'll be challenging joining new a dojo as a black belt. I've thought about trying something else too. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu seems to be the next logical step.

One more achievement under your belt. -_-

That's one great thing about these kind of activities -- you've got something to aim for and you achieve something noteworthy.
