    Some people I know whose opinions I respect so much have asked me to stay away from the council until I have learned the basics of critical thinking.

    They think that I'm a naive, good natured and kind person who will easily believe anything. If that were true, how come I have my doubts about Islam hmmm? Anyway...

    They have asked me to stay away from the council before (which is why I've been away for the past few months) and I obliged, but they got really disappointed when I told them I've been active here for the past few weeks.

    I'm currently going through a lot of examinations in my final semester in college so I won't be able to go through my Scientific Method course book (Thinking for Yourself) until I graduate. And until I finish Thinking for Yourself, well, you won't be seeing much of me sadly.

    This book is the beginning of a small list of books they've prepared for me. After that I shall return to where I feel is like my home on the internet, to interact, share, think, participate, analyse, criticize and even debate.

    I will miss my good friends here like muddy, Cheetah, Hassan, Islame, Yez, Bison, MC, Q-m, Osmanthus and anyone reading this.

    I will also miss my chat buddies especially Ali, Aurora and Zizo although he freaks me out. No offense Zoz.

    Farewell my friends and be sure that I will pass by from time to time but I won't participate or join the chat. Back to lurking I guess.

    this is good brother.i hope you realize that islam is truth and learn about quran and remember that allah will always forgive you when you repent.leave this site and return to islam.i will also leave after i have debated with some people here.

    Thanks Cheetah I'll do my best. And I don't think my position on Islam will change much in such a short time (say 6 months at most) perhaps I'll remain the almost-deist-islamic-quranic-friday praying-person that I am...

    these questons come from shaitan brother,shaitan says he will put doubts in the minds of muslims to mislead them,you juust have to fast and pray to allah,and read the quran,and dont come to sites like these,and the doubts will go away inshallah.

    I wish these questions WERE from sheitan. My problems would have been a lot more simple if they were. And I prayed, fasted and read Quran with Tafseer for a LOT of my life to no avail. No. My cure will be logic and reason.

    Well... no one asked and I wasn't very fond of sharing personal details... perhaps when I return I will return with a whole blog of experience and I will include "their" story in it... if "they" stay with me that is. She calls me the anti-christ  Cheesy

    you know ateapotist I still remember that you're the first one who greeted me to CEMB and I didn't understand your name then. I will always remember my first friend Smiley
    Whenever I give her a piece of my mind on the Quran or the Hadith she asks me to shut up...
    I don't blame her. It's a scary road to travel, the path of thinking critically about the religion that you knew nothing against since you were born...
