2-it common sense,you can ask tht person himself but to me seems logical in desert they will mature faster,holy prophet pbuh wouldnt marry her otherwise so is obvious

even if she did menstruate at age 9 (prophet Bukhari strongly disagrees with you by the way), it is still disgusting even if the prophet was only 20 when he married her.

think about it, a man getting an erection at the sight of a 9 years old girl is a freak, right? It doesn't matter if that little girl menstruated or not or if she wanted this marriage or not, being sexulaly attracted to a 9 year old girl is revolting.

i believe polygamy is very degrading for women BUT I also believe if a woamn is willing to degrade herself and marry a married man, then it's her own choice... well, at least it's better than becoming the mistress of a married man.

First of all, the Quran doesn't mention the number of the wives of the prophet, PLUS it does say he was NOT allowed to marry more than what he already had (33:52), but yes, i'm willing to accept he had special privilges, but not something like being allowed to marry a 9 year old kid...

I never said i belived he was a liar. All what I have are Hadiths saying that a particularly jealous and egocentric wife of his claimed she was only a baby when he married her... ABSOLUTELY NO ONE corraborated her fantasy about being his youngest wife... PLUS she reported her fantasy many years after the death of her husband, and her father... no one could say no to an old lady fantasizing about being the prophet's most beautiful/youngest/beloved wife. (don't forget that one of his wives was reported to be as young as 17 years old when he married her many years after he maried Aicha... Aicha couldn't just allow another wife of the prophet to be younger than her, now could she?)

Anyway, if it was proven to me that the prophet indeed married a 9 years old girl, then surely he is a liar and no prophet of God.

to be honest, i don't understand why Islam imposed a maximum number on polygamy at all! If a woman wants to degrade herself and be just another wife of a man, then it's her choice, even if he had a 100.
