    l've forgotten how to cry now. But when I was sixteen and painfully shy, and had all the love in the world to offer, yet had no takers in sight, 'How soon is now?' by the Smiths used to really help add to my depression...but in a nice way.

    In particular, the following bit used to strike a resonance:

    He changed his name to Sananda Maitreya, still making music, due to release some stuff this year. He's criminally underrated, and that sounds trite, but it's too true. And I suspect that's exactly how he wanted it.
