There are so many quality scenes in that film, its hard to pick one! Also, the Tuco in the Gunshop scene. I love that.

So true. That is one of the few films where there isn't a bit where I'm thinking "get on with it!"

Is the greatest performance from the greatest actor in the greatest scene from the greatest movie of ALL TIME. Don’t say it isn’t, because it is.

I think Danny Boyle does some amazing set pieces too. The scene in 28 Days Later where Cillian Murphy wakes up from his coma to discover an abandoned London is fucking brilliantly realised. The opening scene of Trainspotting too, the “choose life” monologue to the sound of Iggy Pop’s Lust For Life is delish. But best of all is Capa’s sacrifice in the incredible Sunshine. It lights me up. Incredible score too, from Underworld and John Murphy. Forward to 3:46 mins for the scene:

A human being touching the sun. “Oh my God”. Not sure how much more poetic a film can be. Beautiful ending to one of my favourite movies.
