That's a loaded question, therefore invalid.
Might as well say: what created the world?
To that I would of course answer: the tiny teapot orbiting the earth, so small that it can't be seen. Ever. It's also an intangible teapot, so you can't touch it.
But it's there, believe me, and it's the thing that created us all and to which we should pray. I have this book from the 200 BC written by the Roman prophet Teapotius.
He received revelations from an angel (which nobody could see, hear, touch, smell, except Teapotius himself of course), sent by the teapot, to spread the message of Teapotism.

Teapotius was also a remarkable man, he was very kind and merciful. Except when he was suspicious of someone of course. Prophets of god also need to save their own asses. The Teapot is too busy to watch after them and make sure that the truth is spread.
Like that one time when he heard that Quraizius, leader of a tribe near Rome, was going to side with the enemy. What better way to solve this problem than to besiege that tribe and behead all males who had grown pubic hair? Yes, Teapotius was a merciful man indeed, and don't you dare to say otherwise. Or I will cut your head off. You don't insult prophets, that's simply not done man. You will have to face consequences if you do. I don't care that he's not holy to you, he is to me and I'm an irrational turd, so BACK OFF yeah?

I'll give you even more proof that Teapotism is the only true religion: 1.5 billion people believe in it!!! Would you seriously suggest that ALL OF THEM are wrong?? Haha, you idiot. Of course they can't be.
Even better: the Holy Porcelain (that's our holy book) is the same one as the one Teapotius dictated 2200 years earlier!! ... Sort of, Teapotius' scribes didn't write any vowels, and there were no markings on the consonants, so the 'b' could be mistaken for a 't'. Yeah it's pretty retarded, I agree, but it's still the truth you know! I should also note that the first book was only compiled years after Teapotius' death, mostly based on what people remembered of it and some pieces containing verses here and there.
By the time the first Holy Porcelain was compiled, there were already several versions of it, but one of Teapotius' followers that reigned the peaceful society after Teapotius (expanding it hugely in only a few decades, mostly by the sword) ordered to destroy the versions deviating from his version, so that problem was solved  dance

If you have no further questions, please repent now, because obviously this religion is the only true one.

ONCE AGAIN,if you have to write a lot of nonsense, means you dont know the answer,my answer is simple only 1 word:allah

Well, here's the evidence of accretion disks, something Ishina talked about earlier.

    (Clicky for piccy!)

That's a star called Fomalhaut in the middle, you don't see much of it but there's a reason behind it.  It's about 2 times larger than our sun, and it's about right around the block as it is 25 light years away from the sun. It's a very young star, only about a 150 million years or so, that's pretty young as far as stars go, the sun is about 5 billion years old. Since this is a very young star, you can see that it still has its accretion disk (dust disk). It's got a planet, too. So, here's the evidence for planets forming in the accretion disk around the star.

The reason we don't see them very often is because you need to look at young stars to find them, and accretion disks themselves are very hard to see. The stars are a lot bigger and brighter than the accretion disk itself. It's kinda like watching a watching little breadcrumbs in front of a very bright light. In T Tauri stars, stars which are in the latter part of their formation, it's hard to see because the star is still cocooned in the dust cloud which absorbs the light, making the insides hard to see. In the picture above, astronomers had to block out the star light in order to see the faint ring.

Given all the conditions you need to see a protoplanetary disk or accretion disk, the picture above is pretty rare and special.

    Picture fixed.

mashallah this is another sign of allahs power, but these are not really plants, these things are already describe in the quran 1400 years ago, they are made so that shaitan and jinns cant get to the heaven,if they get close then these thing chase them away,is not a world like ours otherwise must have life and water

I thought it was Christian's and Jew's who believed in the old Genesis way of the creation of the Earth.
Not trying to undermine you in anyway ofcourse, just thought I'd get that out the way, please do correct me if I'm wrong lipsrsealed

As for Alsaeed's questions on the creation of planets, pick up a secondary school Physics book and the very first prominent fact you'll come across is that the universe is expanding continously. If your dimwitted brain cannot digest more than three sentences, I'll quickly put it in 'dummy proof' terms.

'As stars die, they release fundemental materials (the building blocks) for planets. Most of it is released throughout the universe, however some of it is pulled in by gravity forming foundations for new planets.'

There. Let's hope you can bear to read more than two sentences... if your interested and want to know more, heres my source:

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16564325/ns/technology_and_science-space/

and what makes stars die?Huh???what maes them release this stuff????it can never happen unless guided by allah,is all a sign of allah but you chose to disbeleive, how can these huge stars be form in the first place without god to make them?Huh?Huh???

okay, lets make my answer short and simple.  Rather, let me answer the question
    with some questions I have:

Why has allah NEVER healed an amputee?  *waiting for the three words,
I DONT KNOW*  If he is capable of  creating the entire universe, then it
shouldnt be a problem regrowing someone's chopped off limb, right?

If you reply with "allah no longer performs miracles", then why are there
100s of youtube videos about the miracles in the koran?

amputee is test in this life, anyone who have some problems in this life,if they still stick to it,they have the highest reward in the next life

If you ask 100 people you'll get a ton of different answers. Honestly who cares Tongue We're all alive, Muslim, Jew, Christian or not, we should be getting along peacefully not worrying about pleasing something you can't see or hear (unless in your head, like a crazy)and making crap up about what happens when you die. The more science digs deep about  how nature work the more religious nutcases shit their pants.

Also saying 'Allah made everything' a is not good explanation. It'll be like saying.

    2+2 = Allah

I am pretty sure I'll pass. If you want to ask something about astronomy, you can ask me there. As for what's going on in astronomy; Curiosity, the new Martian probe is almost done with all the testing and simulations. If all goes well, the probe will be launched by the end of this year.  It is equipped with 10 science instruments to investigate Martian soil and rock samples in far greater detail than ever before. Curiosity’s science payload weighs ten times more than any prior Mars rover mission.

This is pretty much what it's going to look like on Mars.

So alsaeedm.  Please tell where the original koran is?
I mean, they have found written documents thousands
of years older.  Oh, wait, the koran was scratched out
on bones and animal skins.  right?  Didn't one of the
original pieces of the goat bone get lost?  And someone
had to transcribe it over to paper.  Who did that? Actually
wrote it all down?  And WHEN?

The stars die due to the fuel that keeps them burning running out, i.e. our sun will die as soon as its Hydrogen runs out, therefore fusion reaction cannot occur anymore. The material released is due to its inflation as it goes into supernova. It isn't guided by 'Allah', its how physics works.

I don't mind that, the ones they produced have been more successful than any mission in history. Spirit and Opportunity landed on Mars in 2004, their primary mission lasted for about 3 months. The probes were expected to last for 2 years at most, but the rovers have lasted for 7 years. Spirit may not be responding, but Opportunity is still going strong.

mashallah this is another sign of allahs power, but these are not really plants, these things are already describe in the quran 1400 years ago, they are made so that shaitan and jinns cant get to the heaven,if they get close then these thing chase them away,is not a world like ours otherwise must have life and water

LOL. So, these things are meant to chase away the djinns? That's very enlightening. However, these are just pieces of dust and rock around a star, they don't chase away any thing, they come together to form a bigger piece of rock. I tried to make it as clear as possible, but it seems you're incapable of producing a coherent thought.

I keep hearing conflicting reports about whether or not bacterial life once existed on mars.

There was some media hype about finding life on Mars recently, it was sparked by scientists saying that Mars can support microscopic fossils, but that doesn't mean it has them. What they meant was, it's possible to have microscopic fossilisation on Mars, and that's something we can discover. This was picked up by the popular media and blown way out of proportion, classic sensationalism which is so common in the popular press, it's nothing new.

Are we any closer to finding this out for certain?

Well, there's lots of evidence to support that Mars was capable of supporting life in the past. It's very likely that there was life on Mars, and it still might be there, check out the third paragraph. Curiosity is designed to evaluate if Mars was or still is capable of supporting life, there are 4 possible landing sites for Curiosity, none has been confirmed. It has a plethora of instruments on board, so it's going to be an interesting mission. This is our next step towards finding out if Mars had or still has life. So, step by step, we're getting closer to finally answering that question.

Thanks mate, that certainly clears that up for me, I'm glad I asked you. I will certainly keep a close eye on Curiosity when it is eventually launched. It sounds like it could answer some very important questions. To have final confirmation that life has started, independently, twice, within one pretty average solar system; that for me would be huge. It would confirm that the miracle of 'life' is not quite the miracle that many assume it to be. It would also confirm that there most definitely is intelligent life out there, somewhere.

While I have your attention, I have a question on physics also. Not sure if that's your field, but I have a feeling it is. Has anything constructive come out of the much hyped HLC? I have been expecting news to come through of some find or another regarding theoretical particles,  but nothing seems to have been reported yet? Is it just a case of having to wait a bit longer before these find are made?

You're welcome. Life can be very common in the universe, we have so many places within our solar system where it may have occurred.

The LHC is doing great, actually. It's important to understand what they're doing there. They're looking at millions of particle collisions, in the case of finding the Higgs boson, they're trying to look for a few isolated events. So, they have to go through all of the collisions first, the LHC churns out 700 megabytes of data per second, they have to isolate the event, and then check if it's a legitimate event or background noise. After they've done that they're probably going to look for more events, once they've done all that, they can write scientific papers about it. Given all that, it might be years before we hear anything about the Higgs and proper scientific papers are published.

The LHC is not even running at full energy this year. It's only going to run at 7 TeV, 3.5 TeV per beam, throughout 2011. It's designed to run at 14 TeV, but we might not see 14 TeV collisions before the end of 2012 or even later. They're doing this for safety reasons.

In spite all of that, the LHC is doing great, it's found some very interesting things. It's running at record breaking energies, we've never ventured into this realm before, so we can expect some really weird things to come up and they have. They're finding new effects, the way particles are behaving and they're constantly scrutinising what we know about the standard model each day. But that doesn't really get reported in the popular media cos that's boring stuff. You might have to wait a while before the big news comes up, or they might even find something unexpected soon. But really what they're doing every day is pretty exciting, too.

What were you thinking my lovely?   But you are still a young woman. At your age follies are a dime a dozen. So let me help you see the error of your ways. What you need to do my sweet is to ditch that absurd alias you've chosen. As noted, it is ridiculous. You need to adopt a more gaudy handle that attracts the eye like a set of neonlights in the dark, dark night. Something which radiates animal vigour, humour and a hint of sexiness. But don't overdo it. That is dangerous. Look at how wonderful mine is. Have you seen a more gorgeous thing in your life?

If you have not changed that absurdity by the day's end you will come to a very bad end. Got that?
