Thanks for sharing, but I don't think that website is news to most of the people here
I don't really like that website, you can't count on unbiased arguments since it's a Christian site.

Here's a two part video that completely destroys Quranic embryology.

Answering-Islam does have a few good arguments and pages, although it's always best to be extremely skeptical about it because most of them are the opposite.
(Relying on Christians to give legitimate arguments against Islam is as flawed as relying on Muslims to give legitimate arguments against atheists)

Yes of course, but do you agree that Christians are more likely to be biased/intellectually dishonest than atheists?
The verse "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them"; just saw a Christian street apologist the other day using this as an argument that Islam supports terrorism.

An Arabic version with all references to the Quran intact, and a Western version where the Quran references have been replaced by a short paragraph under historic references to embryology, among a bunch of others

Oh but Keith Moore did mean it when he said that Muhammad could have only heard it from God, this is not a scam at all

If the argument is directed at me ( ) then I don't agree that christians are more likely to be either biased or intellectually dishonest (astaghfirullah) or both. As an atheist you simply have to understand their bias and turn on the "antichrister" filter when you read their materials in order not to be annoyed quickly. However, I am sure that they get annoyed by atheist material just as quickly and more often than not consider them biased/misled/intellectually dishonest. I know we're on the right path, but to say that everyone else is biased and/or intellectually dishonest is not nice.

Sorry for the confusion guys, it was directed at ALM.
I wasn't saying atheists rule and all the rest are suckers, you have both kinds of people (truth distorters, confirmation bias, ...) on both sides, but I think one should be more skeptical when it comes to religions proving each other wrong.
I mean, they list like 7 possibilities as the origin of man. I remembered reading those one time and wanted to use them in a discussion, but when I re-read them and checked the verses I didn't use it anymore because it wasn't convincing enough.
The site makes it appear as if the Quran contradicts itself 7 times (which I think they intended to do - but this is of course only speculation), while the verses don't necessarily contradict each other.

It is impressive for a site made by Christians.

I found little misrepresentation of Islamic sources, and their criticisms were relevant to what is the general opinion among Muslims/scholars.

And of course, Christianity has its horrendous flaws. So they did themselves (and others) a favor by not injecting evangelical mush into pages, which importantly dealt with Qur'anic miracle claims and moral issues surrounding Islam.

Muslims made their own site: Answering-Christianity, which wasn't successful at all.

One more thing, I saw a good video on the integrity of the Quran made by a youtube channel called Acts17Apologetics (using Islamic sources).
I didn't realise they were Christians, but anyway I checked another video where a caller asks if there is any historical proof for Jesus.
The host lolz away saying, haha yeah PLENTY

Check both names, Tacite born 56 AD, Josephus 37 AD.
I mean come on guys, be fucking honest :/

Thanks for the very informative vid Three44 (i promise i am not stalking you)

I geniunely feel the urge to email my sister who is an undergrad medical student and to every other muslim i know. Who still seem to believe that the Quran has the right embryology. Maybe i should get a third person to do this, seeing as she'll bash it without even taking a look at it if it comes from her oh so dissapointing murtad sister.

I think i've gone mad Muslims have an infinite amount of excuses to justify the Quran. It's either going to be misinterpretation or mistranslation, and if that fails that they bash you with the Quran is not a scientific book, it's a life guide well what use is a life guide if it doesn't contain any facts or useful information?
