^^ lol. so not much different Smiley

well the first thing I did was have alcohol at a friends BBQ. I remember that summer afternoon, cold corona beer bottles laying around. A friend offered, I took a sip, tasted like shit, still drank it anyway.

After that was pork. Pepporoni pizza, tasted weird, didnt understand the hype about pepperoni. would not even order it now if given the choice. I like my mushrooms thank you very much.

Drinksareonme how about you ? what is the first thing you would do after leaving islam ?

When I first went for alcohol shopping, I was just lost in it totally. Had so many questions about it, and no one was willing to answer them.. lol

When I left Islam, I had no foundation for morality nor reason to be a good person and no fear of Hell, so I went out and started randomly committing crimes.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

I don't understand the hype over alcohol, I personally hate it. Same thing with the ham and pepperoni deal. I did, however, smoke a fat blunt.

I insulted Muhammad and the Quran.  Seriously.  It helped to get rid of those demons once and for all.

More sex, smoked more weed and drank alcohol(but that doesnt make me different from muslims who do so, in fact some are doing worse than i am doing).

What i enjoyed most doing after i left Islam was studying Philosophy and Science at my leisure time instead of reading Qur'an.

Lol. That is precisely what I did just as I became a full-blown atheist, followed by saying to myself "I am an atheist."

As for indulging in things like eating non-halal food and drinking alcohol, I did that stuff before I left Islam (have never been an ideal Muslimah), so no difference there.

One of the first thing I did was to rationalise and rebuild my morale and ethical foundation. I had to rethink my views on a wide range of subjects and behaviours from something simple like stealing to homosexuality.

I started eating and drinking non-halal food afterwards. I actually used to get a buzz going into MacDonald's.

I officially left Islam when I was 18. But I was with my family so all I did was stop praying. When I was finally living alone however, my lanlady's son took me to the liquor store on my 19th birthday and we had a couple beers together in my room before he left. I drank alone that night, got so drunk and puked so much. I hated the taste, but it felt so liberating.
I learned "Beer before liquor, never sicker, liquor before beer, never fear" all by myself that day.

I burned half of a hijab. After that I dropped by a convenience store and bought gummy candy. I know it's silly but after all that time checking the back of everything to see if it had some form of pork in it, it felt liberating. I was a fool to not let gelatin into my heart.

At the time, I was living at an apartment complex. It was done at night and I only stopped halfway through because I thought it would attract attention from the security patrolling or the bunch of people leaving and coming back to the complex.

I just went to bed. I felt relieved.

This has nothing to do with the freedom that prostrated itself before me. That is minor. It had to do with the philosophical application of there no longer existing a egocentric sadistic God. I felt that I could be happy. Be appreciative of the now. Weirdly enough, I have not felt more alive than after realising the truth, leaving Islam.

I have not changed a bit I must add as a person. I am still as honest and giving as I was before.

Grouchy  what is the  good reason for picking up an innocent girl  as Osama  bin Laden?

Yes, Al... bamboozled, hoodwinked, ref:  Surah 3:54  finmad

Grouchy, that was my next step.  I realized I didn't need god to
be compassionate, have good morals, be a law abiding citizen,
etc.   I didn't go hog wild, either.  And I, too, felt a GREAT sense
of relief, (allbeit, I got depressed for a while, I had WANTED to
believe god existed for SO many years!)
