    I shall be attending this event. If you would like to come I suggest you buy your ticket ASAP. Let me know if you do and we can meet up before or after for some food/drink.

    That was fun! 'Twas a pleasure as always Shahid, HO and thinkfree, and great to meet you for the first time Mutha Kuffar. The event itself had a lively warm up act, with a fairly crap protest about AC Grayling's new private college, and was itself about as good as a 1 hour informal session could be. Photos and maybe video to follow...

    For those who couldn't make it, I'm not sure if it'll be uploaded to the British Humanist Association website at any point, but I'll update this thread if I see it has.

    Seriously.  British students are just embarrassing themselves with their nanny state, " I want everything paid for me", whining.  I can't see the advantage of a British education if it is going to teach you to break things and yell loud when you don't get your way.  

    Anyways, I hope everyone had a good time who went.

    Btw, not sure if I really enjoyed it, badly run, 30min late start. The part about how impressive our eyes are was good. But the questions were rather lame ... especially the one about what books can we read about the subject or something ... lol
