The argument for circumcision from a medical point of view is only plausible in a world where there are no antibiotics and no condoms, and even then it is still a gruesome and extreme measure to safeguard against the tiniest risk.

Furthermore, by that standard we should chop off all body parts that run the tiniest risk of having treatable complications at some point in an average lifespan.

But lets not pretend there is a medical reason for nearly all genital mutilation. We all know it’s just a ritual requirement of a certain ancient cult of sacrifice and is an accepted form of abuse only because that cult is so popular. We all know it is to appease a blood hungry and jealous sky man that ancient superstitionists decided to call God.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

For those that didnt read it it basically says that circumcision is not needed and its unnecessary

I KNEW it would say that! I was thinking the exact same thing last night. But doesn't circumsision make IT look nicer?

I'm open for debate (of why we should re-/embrace Islam), but I will no longer participate in this forum. Message me if you need anything. Good luck and may you all find your way... again...

They look pretty much the same erect anyway. And it's hardly a good reason for circumcision.

    But wait...
    Quote
The incidence rate of the complications of circumcision reported in published articles varies, but it is generally in the order of 0.2% to 2%. Most complications are minor, but occasionally serious complications occur. There is a need for good epidemiological data on the incidence of the surgical complications of circumcision, of the later complications of circumcision and of problems associated with lack of circumcision.

     - conclusion

    Then again...
    Quote
Therefore, the incidence of complications of circumcision, according to some reports, approaches or exceeds the incidence of UTI among uncircumcised male infants. Although some of the complications are less severe than a UTI, the incidence and cost of complications need to be included in any assessment of the cost-effectiveness of routine circumcision.

Sounds like we should flip a coin Tongue

I don't mind respecting the cultural/religious background of the woman I'm going to marry. We will do the research and reach an agreement when time calls for it.  whistling2

From a female point of view: No, it doesn't.

In my view a circumcised penis looks and you can tell that it has been snipped, there are tell tale signs in the form of scaring and discoloured tissue. The key of good hygiene is to wash the glans and foreskin with warm water, that is all that is needed it doesn't take too long at all.
