  • Muhammed Wished Death on a Little Girl
     OP - June 13, 2011, 03:05 AM

    Quote
Anas b. Malik reported that there was an orphan girl with Umm Sulaim (who was the mother of Anas). Allah's Messenger saw that orphan girl and said: O, it is you; you have grown young. MAY YOU NOT ADVANCE IN YEARS! That slave-girl returned to Umm Sulaim weeping. Umm Sulaim said: O daughter, what is the matter with you? She said: Allah's Apostle has invoked curse upon me that I should not grow in age and thus I would never grow in age, or she said, in my (length) of life. Umm Sulaim went out wrapping her head-dress hurriedly until she met Allah's Messenger. He said to her: Umm Sulaim, what is the matter with you? She said: Allah's Apostle, you invoked curse upon my orphan girl. He said: Umm Sulaim, what is that? She said: She (the orphan girl) states you have cursed her saying that she might not grow in age or grow in life. Allah's Messenger smiled and then said: Umm Sulaim, don't you know that I have made this term with my Lord. And the term with my Lord is that I said to Him: I am a human being and I am pleased just as a human being is pleased and I lose temper just as a human being loses temper, so for any person from amongst my Ummah whom I curse and he in no way deserves it, let that, O Lord, be made a source of purification and purity and nearness to (Allah) on the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih Muslim, Book 032, Number 6297)

Jesus was a saint who loved children in the NT:

    Mark 10:13-16

Let the Children Come to Me
13(A) And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples(B) rebuked them. 14But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, (C) "Let the children come to me;(D) do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15(E) Truly, I say to you, whoever does not(F) receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it." 16And(G) he took them in his arms and blessed them,(H) laying his hands on them.

Muhammed on the other hand was a miserable bastard who wished death on children and screwed 9 yr old Aisha.

Besides this topic isn't about Jesus, it's about Muhammed. If you want to talk about Jesus then start your own topic. Otherwise get a life.

Are you sure he was wishing her dead?  It reads to me like he was wishing that this pretty little girl wouldn't grow up.  I'll make no comment on why Mohammed would wish such a thing.....

Yes I am sure he wished her dead:

Um Sulaim was not too happy about this and demanded why would Muhammed say such a thing.

I know that's the way the girl interpreted it, but look at what he actually said...

Isn't the upshot of this story that Muhammad realized he fucked up, admitted he shouldn't have lost his temper, and shouldn't have cursed the little girl?

Not that Muhammad wasn't a bastard for doing it in the first place (among the many other nasty things he did and said), but just sayin.

Umm Sulaim also interpreted it as the samething. She and the girl interpreted it as a curse. Besides this is not the first time Muhammed cursed someone:

    Quote
A'isha reported that two persons visited Allah's Messenger and both of them talked about a thing, of which I am not aware, but that annoyed him AND HE INVOKED CURSE UPON BOTH OF THEM AND HURLED MALEDICTION, and when they went out I said: Allah's Messenger, the good would reach everyone but it would not reach these two. He said: Why so? I said: Because you have invoked curse and hurled malediction upon both of them. He said: Don't you know that I have made condition with my Lord saying thus: O Allah, I am a human being and that for a Muslim upon whom I invoke curse or hurl malediction make it a source of purity and reward? (Sahih Muslim, Book 032, Number 6285)

Yeah well the probably with this is Muhammed proclaimed himself a prophet and here he is lashing out on the little girl. This is not the first Muhammed hurled curses at people. Read my post above.

Also people who are not prophets have no problem controlling their anger and do not lash out at loved ones like Muhammed did.

Sounds like a misunderstood compliment to me...

I'm open for debate (of why we should re-/embrace Islam), but I will no longer participate in this forum. Message me if you need anything. Good luck and may you all find your way... again...

It doesn't matter a fart what Umm Sulaim's interpretation was because she didn't hear it.  She's only got the girl's word for it, so obviously her interpretation will agree with that of the person who related the story to her.

Maybe he didn't want to admit that he was perving on her?

Now why wouldn't he want to admit he was perving on her when he married a 9 yr old Aisha and admitted he wanted to marry a little baby:

    Quote
(Suhayli, ii.79: In the riwaya of Yunus I.I recorded that the apostle saw her (Ummu’l-Fadl) when she was baby crawling before him and said, ‘If she grows up and I am still alive I will marry her.’ But he died before she grew up and Sufyan b. al-Aswad b. Abdu’l-Asad al-Makhzumi married her and she bore him Rizq and Lubaba….(Ref.3, page 311)

He said he wanted to marry her when she grew up, not as a baby.   Roll Eyes  Anyway, maybe he was just embarrassed to admit what he meant to Umm whatsername.

It doesn't matter. It still shows he had inappropriate feelings for a little baby.

Muhammed married a 9 yr old Aisha. Now why would he be embarrassed to admit it to one of his followers?

Muhammed said Allah had sent him a dream telling him to marry Aisha, and I spose people at the time were superstitious and gullible enough to believe him.  That's a different thing to admitting in cold blood that he was perving on a random orphan girl to a woman who was assertive enough to challenge him about threatening her.
