i love kids. i love playing with them on the bus or metro. this one time a little girl was sitting with her mother across from me and i pulled my tongue out at her, and she did the same, and we kept pulling faces at each other and cracking up. she was the cutest thing. another time an even younger girl was with her parents and i looked at her and she hid her face on her father's lap then shyly started looking up at me and smiled. i smiled back and started playing the eye-contact game with her. she got off before me and i waved her goodbye.
i try to make eye-contact every time i see a kid and smile. and it breaks my heart when i see children crying or being hit or yelled at by their parent.
and my cousin's daughter is always excited to see me when i'm back home and go to visit, even though i've only seen her a couple of times since she was born. she always runs to me and drags me out to play. i watch her jump on the trampoline and sit with her on the swing. she's the most rosy-cheeked bundle of joy.

. Except I'm always wearing black/having a sombre expression/generally looking like a serial killer, so I tend to freak them/their parents out a lot. :(
Long may that last.
No kids should be the default setting, only to be changed in extreme circumstances.

my boy would have called you zoro, and probably challenged you to a sword fight..
my kids put me in the most embarrassing situations..
my little girl says "hi what's your name?" to everyone she passes, and if they don't answer her, she'll keep asking until they do.. she made me chase her in the mall once, cause she was so dead set on finding out one guy's name.. (i hope he didn't think i put her up to it, cause that's just wrong on so many levels)..

My nephew likes to embarass me alot, we were walking around the plaza the other day waiting for my sister to come. He sees Pizza Nova and says can you buy me a pizza? I said no of course, so he opens the door to the pizza store sticks his head in, takes a big breath in....says ahhh...and then comes after me.
Everyone in the pizza store was staring, you would think he never gets pizza but he gets it all the time the little rascal
