    how he found philosophy in one of the most discredited religion by philosophers to such a point that some have come tout to argue that Islam cannot even be considered a religion in the same sense as Christianity or judiasm.     Hamza tortoise is the new superstar of the muslim apologists, he may make grand arguments on the exitance of god but when he starts talking about the quran and making every letter in the quran sound so majestic it gets utterly boring. be alert this guy is HIGHLY dogmatic. you only have to read history books to see that even in the islamofascist empire from 7th century onwards was riddled with fights, corruption and all sorts of problems. Poverty still existed and blood was spilled to those who disobeyed.

    I've met this fool- Hamza Tzortis a few years back. He's a former humanist but he's a twat- just regurgitates the arguments of slightly more sophisticated theists like William Lane Craig. PZ Myers makes him look silly.

    Pretty much, but that is how most of the Islamic apologists operate now days. I remember hearing Adam Deen talk about the Hotel Paradox and thought wow that is original. Then I found out that WLC had been doing that for years.

    If anything this thread gave me a great introduction to PZ Myers, I have been binging on his youtube videos ever since. He is a bit of a smug know-it-all but I do like his style.

    adam deen is the worst debator ever. he literally copies verbatim wlc's five arguments for god in every debate, only replacing the resurrection of christ with the inimitability of the qur'an :/

    I have written to him a few times but not yet had a response.  He wrote a comment on his facebook page saying he had accidentally deleted my email and asked if I could resend it, which I did, and have not had a response.
