I think I need to look up more Spanish music

Sort of Spanish music, but not from Spain itself, those are Latin American artists. They don't even like that stuff much in Spain.

Anyway, I can post loads more tracks for you.  Smiley

Ojos de cielo ( Heavenly eyes)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwUYzw1UHik

    My translation

If I look deeply into your tender eyes
The world disappears because of your fire
The world disappears and I discover the heaven
When I dive into your eyes

    Heavenly eyes, Heavenly eyes
don't abandon me in mid flight
    Heavenly eyes, Heavenly eyes
All my life just to have this dream
    Heavenly eyes, heavenly eyes
    Heavenly eyes, heavenly eyes

If I were to forget what is true
    and become insincere
    Your heavenly eyes will remind
If I forget what is true

    Heavenly eyes, Heavenly eyes
don't abandon me in mid flight
    Heavenly eyes, Heavenly eyes
All my life just to have this dream
    Heavenly eyes, heavenly eyes
    Heavenly eyes, heavenly eyes

If the the sun were to go out
and a dark night surrounds me
your heavenly eyes will be my light
Your sincere eyes will be my guide

    Heavenly eyes, Heavenly eyes
don't abandon me in mid flight
    Heavenly eyes, Heavenly eyes
All my life just to have this dream
    Heavenly eyes, heavenly eyes
    Heavenly eyes, heavenly eyes

    Heavenly eyes, heavenly eyes
    Heavenly eyes, heavenly eyes

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

    "Afraid of nothing"

I'm dying to beg you not to go away of my life
I'm dying to listen to you to tell me things, to never say "I'll shut it" and walk away
I still have the hope of being capable someday
of not hiding the wounds that hurt me
To think I'm loving you a little more each day
How long are we going to wait?

I'm dying to hug you, and that you hug me so tightly
I'm dying to amuse you and that you kiss me when I wake up
cozy in your chest until the sun shows up
I'm getting closer to your aroma
I'm getting lost in your lips which come closer
    whispering words that get
    to this poor heart
I'm starting to feel the fire inside of me

I'm dying to get to know you, to know what you are thinking
to open up all your doors and to conquer those storms
that wnat us down, to plant in your eyes my stare
to sing along with you 'til dawn
to kiss each other 'til eroding our lips
and to see in your face everyday, that seed growing up
to create, to dream, to let everything surge, stopping the fear to suffer.

I'm dying to explain to you what's on my mind
    I'm dying to intrigue you
and still being capable to surprise you
to feel each day that arrow hit
When I see you, what's with everyone is saying?
What's with what everyone's thinking?, if I'm crazy it's my problem
and now I look at the world in my favor again
I look the sun shining again

I'm dying to get to know you, to know what you are thinking
to open up all your doors and to conquer those storms
that wnat us down, to plant in your eyes my stare
to sing along with you 'til dawn
to kiss each other 'til eroding our lips
and to see in your face everyday, that seed growing up
to create, to dream, to let everything surge, stopping the fear to suffer.

Love this song. "Chanda Re" from the Indian movie Sapnay, from the '90s I think.

This song is also really beautiful. It's "Roya Re" from the Indian movie Dhoka (which I highly recommend):

    @deusvult: Are you from Spain?

    This is the chorus:

hace tiempo que te digo que yo siento que me muero,

(for a while now, I've been telling you that I feel like I'm dying,)

no es tan facil vivir lejos de la mujer que yo quiero.

(it's not so easy living far from the woman I love.)

aun me queda tu recuerdo, enmarcado entre tu espejo,

(but your memory is still with me, marked within your mirror,)

de mañana me levanto y rezo a Dios que no estes lejos.

(each morning I wake and pray to God that you weren't so far.)
